Good opportunity to back in the senior players to downhill ski against a WAFL side.
Hahaha, time to collect my winnings. Too bad it was only paying $1.05.

I hope we lose.

Three pretty early picks on that emergency list

Hopefully Cook can crack it for a game shortly

It's frustrating that when one young player (Soligo) makes strides it needs to effectively be at the expense of another

Because last time we played West Coast with one key defender and Doedee on Darling it went super well 🙄

Poll question of the week, are we tanking again having finally accepted the list is still a shambles, or have we reached new depths of incompetence?

Everything we do in regards to list management, drafting and selection suggests the club is going all in on the one KPD idea.

Love seeing Cook and Berg on the emergencies list. We deserve to give Crouch and Milera the opportunity
This is the club that made Pedlar the travelling emergency and miss two weeks of footy so that Crouch could get a full game at SANFL level and press for a recall.

Rebuild my arse.

I'd like to say I can't wait til Nicks is gone but it'll be the same shit served up by someone different. When will this club realise Neil Craig wasn't that good a coach, he inherited the guts of a premiership team that was still in a spot to win a flag or two and he underdelivered? The only hope this club has is to stop using him as our template, his ghost haunts the club every day.

There was 0% likelihood that Milera and Crouch weren’t locked in. It’s about continuity and ignoring everything else trying to get the 4 points.

I hope we get destroyed, but sadly we’re playing the worst team we’ve seen for years. Then we back up again against a similar shitshow after the bye.

Lots of rain forecast for saturday apparently..might be a day for smalls

If only we'd picked a small defender.

Our back half is one tall, one medium, zero smalls, and then 5 half back flankers, some of whom are good for an intercept or 5 in a game, but not noted for being good at man on man jobs.

I'm okay with Milera staying in - needs to play at AFL level to get back up to speed. He has the skills, we shouldn't be fielding a side with the sole goal of winning matches.

But it is unbelievable that Crouch stays. Perfect game to get Schoey back in to build confidence, and someone should make way for Jones. He showed a lot even in the short time on field last week, and shouldn't have been dropped anyway.

On another note, who's taking bets on Parnell coming straight out next week for Brown after protocols?

Milera remaining is as pitiful as Crouch. That it took illness for Brown to miss is not far behind.

I don't mind us only picking one KPD. There is absolutely no point playing players we don't rate and will delist at the end of the season. It's a waste of effort. May as well use those games on players that might have a future even if it unbalances the team.

But we need to follow through by delisting Frampton and Borlase, keeping McAsey forward and trading Worrell.

The selection of Crouch and Milera is woeful though

I’m not sure why anyone thought that the AFC version of a rebuild would be trying to get 22 players together that can compete for the bottom part of the 8. If we get our experienced guys in form, with continuity then we’re on the precipice. The rebuild was gone when we were 3:1 last year. It’s been about making the 8 since then.
