I don't mind us only picking one KPD. There is absolutely no point playing players we don't rate and will delist at the end of the season. It's a waste of effort. May as well use those games on players that might have a future even if it unbalances the team.

But we need to follow through by delisting Frampton and Borlase, keeping McAsey forward and trading Worrell.

The selection of Crouch and Milera is woeful though
Are they doing that for those reasons though, or because they think it might be a genuine formula for success?

I don't mind Milera staying in. He looked rusty last week, but at least tried to do something every time he got the ball. But needs to lift.

Crouch, meh.

Jones should be playing.

The ins are good.

Milera looked like he was underdone and out of form and yet we selected him ahead of players in better form.

He needs to knock the door down at SANFL level, but senior or established players get to skip that part and being uninjured is good enough.

Yeah I agree he looked like he wasn't ready. And if dropped would say that was the right call.

I just liked the way he did try to create something every time he got the ball.

We don't have many players with that attitude.

I don't think it's because they think it's successful. If they did, we would have dropped Murray for Butts last week.

I think they have stamped the papers of Frampton and Borlase already. They will be delisted, it's already decided. As for Worrell they don't see him as a KPD and McAsey they see as a forward.

They are refusing to play Frampton or anyone else because they suck and there's no point playing players that are bad

Milera was picked without any decent form in the sanfl & was horrible last week... yet we persist... like it's easier to find form in the afl than the sanfl.

Crouch effectively stymied the midfield minutes for Berry & Hatley, throwing out the balance of the midfield which was looking ok before his return... but we persist, ahead of an outside midfielder like Cook who is a high talent we need to get games into.

Time after time we have seen Doedee is not a key defender... yet we persist & even worse with a busted hand.

He did try to create but everything he did turned to poo. Except maybe 1 pass I recall.

It also doesn't help his cause that he is so ridiculously soft and is less than useless in a contest. He is basically a poor mans Steven Motlop now.

Murphy and Crouch still getting a game, Nick Murray the only KPD v JJK and Darling who have a record of killing us, refusal to play Worrell/Borlase when Butts is out, what a joke we are, complete and utter arrogance, I desperately hope we lose on Saturday.
I cant understand not giving Worrell and Borlase a go. How long to they have to be on our list before we find out if they can play.
I reckon Borlase should have come in for Butts

That's fine if they don't see him as a KPD but if they're gonna force Doedee to play as one while Butts is out, I don't understand why they don't bring in Worrell to cover Doedee's third tall position
He's probably still serving his 5 year club suspension for drink driving to make sure our culture is good

That or they don't rate him at all either despite giving him a two year contract extension

Mchenry, Rowe and Murphy, our electric small forwards combined for 1 goal on the weekend. Surely one had to go.

Newchurch unlucky coaches don't rate goals.

As soon as he’s mastered keeping his opponent boundary side he’ll get his chance.

I don't see how anyone could get upset about Milera staying in. There's usually melts galore when we drop a young player after one game so I don't see why we should do it with Milera after so long off.

As for Crouch, no idea how he survives yet again. It's run its course, time to let go.

And then that releases Dawson to play on a wing instead of in the backlines.
We need Dawson kicking into the F50, not becoming a permanent defender

Right on both accounts. I’m not as unhappy with Milera staying in as I am with Matt, watch us not give any CBAs to Berry this week

Firstly, he’s not young and secondly he’s been out 2 years and both games have shown he’s nowhere near ready physically. It’s a disgusting selection, pure and simple. Worse than it was last week.

Changes look ok to my eye outside of Crouch being retained. Is such a poor fit for the club.

Tex in is a must. Butts can come in for one of Rowe/Murphy/McHenry post bye. Parnell is a good debut however I don't like that we see him as Browns replacement. Lads too talented to be stuck to that role. Milera, was too early to come back but no point ****ing with his confidence. Re-assess post West Coast.

Cook to sub.

Good to see Patty get a game. Reckon he's going to be a good player for us. Strange to see Milera and Crouch still in the team. Not sure why Cook isn't playing, you gotta get games into him. Surprised Thilthorpe is playing after he hobbled off after training. Club will never play Worrell so he should leave to get opportunity. Will be a close match, hope we don't play west coast into form.

Surely the only reason Crouch remains in is purely to ensure his trade value doesn’t decrease any further. We’re hoping another club is seduced by the 30 disposal average on paper and the former club champion title, without taking the time to realise he’s become an accumulator with zero hurt factor.
