If Sydney are so good and we are so crap why'd they need a massive ride from the umps to get back into the game?

Early in third quarter I reckon free kick was about 18 to 11 our way, by the end I reckon it was about 20 each.

Why when we have a bad free kick count against us do we not get the evening up free kicks.

We might be bad but this league (and the SANFL) and its officiating is utter BS

I think we have had 1 free kick paid inside our forward 50 for the whole year with our opposition getting multiple.


We are being punished for pur complaining last year.

Conversely to that, who are Sydneys Jones, Murphy, Sholl, Keays players? A society is only as strong as its weakest link and a football club is the same. Carrying 4+ of these players week in week out is killing the efforts of Dawson, Rankine, Soligo etc.

We were running at 2 free kicks to 1 prior to this, we EARNT ours.
In this period we couldn't get a heap of free kicks and they got anything and everything.
I'm sure it makes no difference.

Not a lot of touches but high tackles and competed well winning/neutralising most 50/50 contests I saw him in

1 poor defensive effort late where he let a player attack the ball and run off unchallenged but not noteworthy really
