lol he said gingervitus....Robs a Red head.Did everyone miss what spenze said about ROB? Sounds like he will be a late out and Berg/RT to ruck
Have the selectors ruled a line through Chayce Jones as well as McHenry?
Shouldn’t have. Ned has never looked good. Chayce looked good early, then we developed him to a 4 touch SANFL mid level before he became good player behind the ball and good player on the wing, both at AFL level. Injury intervened and he deserves another opportunity in 2025. Ned does not.
We look so much better with them inLike most here I’m surprised with the amount of talks considering the weather but happy that Ned and Jones weren’t recalled. Putting games into the kids is a priority now.
Why do I get the feeling we’re still going to lob it on Murphy’s head??Laird would be loving this team. Plenty of targets for his high hack kicks inside 50
Ah damnPretty sure that was a pun.
Yep I think he’ll get significant rotation off the bench as they ease him back inThey want TT in but don’t want him to have to pinch hit ruck.
Overall very heartening. Nankervis looks very comfortable down backAT least I am pleased to see our younger players are still in the team, Dowling, Cook, Zac T and now 007 gets his first game. When you add in Soligo, Rachele Nankervis (pity that Pedler is injured) thats a significant number of youngsters. We now need to get Curtin into the ones. I look at Dowling and whilst I am pleased we are sticking with him I dont really understand why we haven't done the same with Curtin.
Sad thing is, the non selection of Ned wasn't because he's done at AFL level, it's because Nick's is tanking and doesn't want an accidental win by playing Ned.
If we’re drafting player for player replacements then we’re in more trouble than anyone expected.
No he wasn't. Hugh Bond was a inside midfield with the Rebels. He was a tackling machine. IIRC, his average was around 9 a game
Didn't start playing as a defender until he arrived at the Crows.
Either could go to the wing and play, Smith was better there last year than HB, and I think in time that’s where Nankervis ends up playing for us.So who's coming out of the backline for Bond? Nankervis or Smith?
Can live with thatRob will be a late out with Himmler carrying the ruck
I hope so, need the 2018 draft to be exorcised!Have the selectors ruled a line through Chayce Jones as well as McHenry?
