Soligo seemed out of sorts today. He lost his normal composure and calm disposal. Could he benefit from an early end to his season to ameliorate his groin problems? This would allow us to debut another young player.

There's been a lot of comment about Berry. I thought he was, in fact, very important to our clearance performance. This was despite his fumbling, because he followed up and corrected most of them. I would rather not lose him at the end of the year.
Structurally, TT is our most important player.
We were clearly the better side. Moved the ball better, midfield on top and forwards line functioned really well. Think the umps had a fair say in them having that many scoring shots. Torched us.

16 extra inside 50s, 8 extra frees. Doesn’t compute
If we have Dawson, Rankine and Soligo in the midfield regularly next year, I don't think we'll be too worried about it anymore. Two elite players and an A grade, all who are still learning their midfield craft.
Hawthorn started winning when Will Day came back.
I50s not a great indicator some games. They didn't look as threatening and their only threatening forward can't kick.

Despite that they had 1 more scoring shot despite not playing well. You can say it was the umps but how many shots on goal were in relation to the umps compared to ours?
