The game plan / system doesn’t appear to be a sustainable winning model and to me, it looked for all money like the players don’t trust it and don’t believe in it, which is why I think they hesitate so often and move the ball so slowly at times. The backs are working well together which keeps us in the game, but we just can’t kick winning scores.

We only won 1 of out last 10 games in 2017 on top of last year and now zip-4. So 3 of the last 36 and our list has real quality now. There can be no excuses anymore. Something needs to give.

I’m still optimistic and we’re a lot better than at this time last year too....a bad loss like today reminds us of the things we don’t like, some don’t like the coach,some the game plan and some the players and their attitudes.

Only seen Carlton been half decent at best. Got no more reason to melt these days since the club has fielded new players and hired new coaches for the same outcome. I'd recommend most people restrict their emotional investment into Carlton in general. No point internalising every poor kick and disposal like some people do here.

Ok I stand corrected on why is was retained on the list.

But the fact we tried to shop him out last year and couldn’t get any takers, is proof enough the club don’t rate him.

It's a strength no doubt. Charlie has the marking yips, Harry leads the comp but had a shit day and Gov is an enigma. Problem is we don't have the right players front and center or anyone at all for that matter. We are really missing Cuningham as it turns out.

Our ball movement is atrocious imo our tall forwards collectively won't be a strength until that is rectified .
They aren't being utilised to their potential .
Imo 3 talls is more than enough id actually prefer even 2 as it may force our payers coming forward to lower their eyes rather than bombing it long as seems to be the preference .
Whoever thought playing the 4 despite limited other options needs their head read .

Today was an exhibition of the dumbest football I’ve ever seen (except the Malthouse game against Hawks at Etihad). I can understand youth, inexperience etc etc but I though we’d gone past that stage.

The game today was farcical.

Recognising this does not make a person gutless to require them to tear their membership up.

It requires the coaches and players to pull their fingers out of their arses and implement a half decent game plan that provides a slight possibility of actually winning a game.

Yes today was poor result, but you can’t just click your fingers and young guys have experience it takes time..

We didn’t try to shop him, he was a Free Agent.

Sure, other clubs might not have wanted him, but we rightly kept him as a back up.
