Saw a shot of Daisy in the rooms after the game. Looked like he was in tears to me, if so, selfishly I say good, I want them to hurt as much as us.
Cripps was in tears before they left the field..I also thought good selfishly.
These lads will decide they dont like it...then it will change. Not before.
Up till now they have basked in the protection of the group and coach.
They are learning to fly and will crash a few times first. Hopefully today they landed flat on their beaks hard enough and will spend a week squawking never again to each other.

For one I didn’t question his game, the defence were super solid today. To say he had a ****** great game is dumb, he did his job,a good job today.
If you bother to go back and read my original post it was about the future and I made a comparison to him and Tom Stewart, the type of attacking defender we need in his position, maybe Williamson but until we find one I’m happy for him to get a game whilst he’s performing in his role.
Plowman, Cripps, Walsh and Weiters and Jones have been our most consistent performers this years. He has his position locked down

Why would we focus on contested work. We won contested possessions and tackle count. Effort wasn't the problem.

Need to works on executing chains of possessions and not fumbling the ball.

Imaging this board if we were towelled up like the Lions.

Spot on.

Consistent fumbles and lack of composure kicking inside 50 are crucifying us.

Fix these and we are a much, much better team.

As someone who has supported Carlton for 50 years, I actually care that people who should know better made such a short sighted, delusional decision.
50 years! You've had a lot of good, haven't you! Why not post on the positive side to our younger generation instead of adding more shit to the pile! You do have a choice in how you behave online and off and you can make a difference imo

On the bright side, the Magoos had a win, Walsh is a jet, Cripps would be leading the Brownlow and Weiters has been superb.

And Jones is in AA form at FB!

I’ve found reading this autopsy thread quite therapeutic.

Learnt I’m not the only one tearing my hair out in pure frustration.

After 18 years of torture I’ve actually got to the stage where I can’t go to games any more - sadly I just lose my mind and make a fool of myself.

Better to stay at home and walk away from the TV when it all gets too much.
I love the game too much to make that choice.

harry mckay. i thought this was the plan all along? maybe when one of the big 3 is missing then there's a place for cas as a back up ruck and 3rd tall forward (i don't like that but i can at least see it)

It’s so funny is laughable.

The club actually tried to shop Levi our at the end of last year and no other club wanted him, but because he still had a year left on his contract we retained him as purely in case of emergency depth.

So the question then becomes, after trying to shop him off to somewhere else because we recognised he wasnt good enough, how the **** do we end up keeping him in the side when we have all our talls playing?

How does he go from ‘purely in case of emergency depth’ to restructuring the team by dropping small players just to give him a spot? Lol, I tell you it’s laughable

Dangerfield butchers it a bit at speend IIRC

So you reckon it can’t be corrected GS ?
Correct and that’s a great example. If a player ,such a professional player, like Danger can’t fix his technique then who can? The difference between Dow and Danger is simple to understand, Danger’s technique isn’t as bad to begin with that’s why he shanks them less at speed. I’ve never seen a player fix his technique when kicking at speed...never.

Don't know whats going on at Carlton they pay these coaches hundreds of thousands of $$$ but yet they can't teach them how to kick a ball?

This is not just a once off, ever since I can remember our skills have been pathetic, Dow is no doubt talented but if he continues to show he has no skills then he will never make it.

It's not just him even our so called leaders can't kick the ball, I can't see us winning a game, another wooden spoon awaits us and a high draft pick.

I am sick of this shit, I don't want another draft pick, I want the club to start winning, but I doubt that's going to happen.

We have become beggars, I remember people on here cheering when we won the last few wooden spoons, and it has destroyed us and made us a laughing stock. It has eaten away the soul of this club, might as well forfeit the season, that all we have been doing for the last 20 years.

SOS has to be questioned not just Bolton, hope this is not going to be another **** up in a long line of **** ups by us.
Speaking of **** ups...
Hows those train rumours coming along?

No, we gave him a new 1 year contract, and rightly so.

Only seen Carlton been half decent at best. Got no more reason to melt these days since the club has fielded new players and hired new coaches for the same outcome. I'd recommend most people restrict their emotional investment into Carlton in general. No point internalising every poor kick and disposal like some people do here.

The only thing pathetic about today’s loss is all you gutless keyboard warriors sinking the boot in. Hopefully you all rip up your membership and leave the club for the real faithful.

You must be kidding.

Today was an exhibition of the dumbest football I’ve ever seen (except the Malthouse game against Hawks at Etihad). I can understand youth, inexperience etc etc but I though we’d gone past that stage.

The game today was farcical.

Recognising this does not make a person gutless to require them to tear their membership up.

It requires the coaches and players to pull their fingers out of their arses and implement a half decent game plan that provides a slight possibility of actually winning a game.
