Sandilands a big miss for them as is McLean ommission.

You idiot Peete. :D

When Laidler went down, I lost my interest in the game.
To hear we also lost Carrazzo and Curnow in the first quarter also had me kick the cat.
McLean having a poor game just rounded the whole episode off, for me.

Since Curnow is playing I'd expect the Ins and Outs to look like this:

IN: Joseph, Armfield, Walker, Ellard
Out: Carazzo, Yarran, Laidler, Mclean

I think that Joseph, Armfield and Walker are certainties while it could be either Ellard/Thornton that comes in. Ellard deserves to be in more that Joseph but he will play on Ballantyne surely.

I think that's spot on. I don't think Thornton can come in unless Bower goes out otherwise we'd be too top heavy. They might include Russell instead of Ellard though. I'm really not minding the large injury list. Good to get some game time into other players.

:)

Who will play the Yaz role this week?

No doubt Yaz is one of our most important players. Without his run it is a big loss and he is hard to replace but I think it is a great opportunity for some of our other players to step up and show off their skills.

I would think that Tuohy would be a perfect fit. As he has a booming kick, hits targets and has already proved he has good defensive pressure. So our players could go to him and use his penatrating kick to expose freo's first gamer Lee Spurr (who will play on either Betts or Garlett im guessing).

Other's I have heard mentioned is Armfield and JR but I don't think Armfield will have close to the best kick in the team all though he has a lot of speed and I think JR will be the emergency.

What is your opinion?

Re: Rd 5 - Carlton vs. Fremantle, 6:45PM, Friday 27th April @ Subiaco

they were probably conversing about which of them had the weakest shoulders.

Devolved into arm punching, expect an extra week or two in recovery

Re: Rd 5 - Carlton vs. Fremantle, 6:45PM, Friday 27th April @ Subiaco

Are they seriously considering playing McPhee on Betts?. Might be another 6 goal bag for Eddie coming up. Jeff's due for a big day out. Time to really turn up the heat on the Freagles.

:)

Think Bower is a bit stiff, however, I think this is very much a horses for courses team. They don't have a big forwardline (especially with Sandilands out), speed kills.

don;t want walker the sub as mentioned earlier, joseph to balantyne, army to hill

I feel ok about this one, they;re a tough at home but reckon we can do it,

Re: Rd 5 - Carlton vs. Fremantle, 6:45PM, Friday 27th April @ Subiaco

Didn't expect Bower or McLean to get dropped. Not the biggest AJ fan, would of preferred Ellard.

Bit worried with having that many changes but having Walks back is pretty great.

Re: Rd 5 - Carlton vs. Fremantle, 6:45PM, Friday 27th April @ Subiaco

Are we wearing the clash strip?

******* franchise clubs, didnt they have green purple and red in their jumper once upon a time? now they can change/drop 3 colors, and compleyely alter their guernsey to a point where it clashes with a team that has had the same jumper since day dot.....and we have to change?....**** this comp is a joke at times.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Are we ahead or behind with those changes?

As long as all the boys are fit, we'll be O.K.
Big vote of confidence for Joseph and Russell here. It's up to them from here.

Re: Rd 5 - Carlton vs. Fremantle, 6:45PM, Friday 27th April @ Subiaco

I'm happy with Bower and McLean out.

Wish Ellard was in for Russ or AJ but happy. Gonna miss Yazz and Laids a lot. Not to mention Carrots. Hope we have the depth.
