Plowman showed his importance in team structure and how he plays his role today. He’s having quite the year alongside Weitering.

Walshys best game this season too. Fantastic shift.
plow was ****ing immense........

I'm still recovering from Peter Burgoyne doing the same thing to us 20 years ago..........
Would a strong molasses and oat shake help at all?
Might watch a good sports movie to cheer up. One where I know the end is awesome.

It was mainly the kicks though. We kept kicking it over our forwards or on top of their heads and easy pickings for the Backman. Our kicking from defensive 50 to the wings was atrocious all game and kicking into the 50 was even worse.

It’s not the kicks, it’s much easier to make ground moving forward than going backwards.

So be a bit further back and get a jump at it.

Pitto’s marking attempts were embarrassing.

The other talls were pretty good until last qtr.

I’ve never gotten over Peter Riccardi’s kick after the siren which came off Simon Wiggins fingernails, swung back in and went through to win them the game. After we came back from 6 goals down at 3 quarter time, too.

Weitering should have gone to Dixon. He was a massive factor in the game and we just let port take advantage of it. Disappointing

Westhoff murders us all the time. You put Weitering to Dixon, then they have a much better kick for goal taking all the marks.

Massively disappointing, the lack of composure at the end will provide a lot of teaching moments.

Brilliant games from Plow, Weiters, Gibbons and plenty others. Walsh is getting his teeth into the season now.

we’ve had a tough run of games, we’ve played most of the eight. We get Freo, Nth, Hawthorn 3 of the next four weeks (with maybe Adelaide on the way home). Rack up some wins and we’re in this season up to our eyeballs.

We're 2-2 in games under a goal...would be nice obviously to get to 3-1 but ultimately can't complain.

With all these close games we should be better at closing games out though with all the practice.

Melbourne - Got level but didn't capitalise on opportunities
Geelong - Lucky that they kept missing shots they should have kicked...were also 2/3 men down
Essendon - Also gave them a kick after the siren, saved by the distance
Port - Again give them a kick after the siren...and they kept intercepting, we couldn't get any field position. Also 2 men down in the last.

To be honest we haven't finished any of those games particularly well and luckily hung on to win 2 of them. Need to get better in these situations.

When Gibbons, kicked the ball down the line why wasn’t there a Carlton player there to punch the ball over the boundary line, instead they took a soft uncontested mark, and went forward

We had 3 actually. They were all out of position and flying for the same mark

****. Thought we had it. We are up and about. Wish Cunners kicked through it
Cunners needed to kick through it or pass it to use up more time, instead of a nothing kick that made it easy to run through a point.

Gibbons played well but needed to slow it down in the last few minutes.

Kennedy’s last 10 mins not great ....handball centre clearance to no one allowed Port an easy possession.

SPS showed some composure in the last 10mins not many others did.
