Carlton are one of the best sides in the competition of putting sides away late when they get 3-4 goals in front, and in contrast often struggle when its close near the final siren. Tigers are an extremely emotional side who's wins are often reflected by building on momentum swings.

Not that Carlton didn't deserve to win, but frees/non-frees can be worth a shit load more than the sum of that play.
 
Can't be bothered checking to see if this has been discussed but i really feel Richmond were hard done by in pivotal moments in the last quarter by one boundary umpire in particular. That Yarran goal changed the whole course of the game in my books. Absolute disgrace that Dennis, Bruce and co just glossed over it.

Actually if you are looking for a pivotal moment in the last quarter, look no further than Dustin Martin's missed shot on goal when the margin was 7 points. The ball went down the other end, Kane Lucas kicks a goal & instead of there being a 1 point margin, the margin was 12 points.

FWIW, there was no way the ball was out of bounds.
