SPOT ON!!!
does my head in he is a liability!! Hopeless one on one and a horrible decision maker and a horrible kick and we play him as a goal keeper/quarterback who we handball it to to dispose of! We should keep it as far away as possible from him
We don’t play our best one on one defender and their key forwards kill us.
Agree, he is too slow to get the ball moving and just bombs it. Teams just line up waiting for the inevitalble high kick coming out.

His has no penetration in his kicking and ball drop way too high which doesn't give any accuracy. Won't get dropped though.

This is a nothing year, cut the dead wood and get senior games into those who will hopefully take us forward, the senior players who do nothing are a know factor and can come into the team and do nothing if we get injuries. I’d rather miss the finals and start building towards something rather than scrape into the finals and lose another elimation and be right where we are now 3-4 rounds into next year.
You could have posted the same comment for the last 15, bar 2013, but, you know drugs and all.

We like to stick the boot into Carlton in regards to their downfall, we are no diffetent though. An irrelevant club that just makes up the numbers in an 18 team competition.

I need a Tasmanian team ASAP. We have a big rebuild coming up, and we won't have Parish because he will go to a club who will play him in his actual position.

Players that should come under the microscope in my opinion are Shiel who's unaccountable , soft and no second efforts. Hurley too slow to move the ball on and under pressure had the composure of a 1st gamer and this is happening weekly now.
Bellchambers moves slower than a wet week, no second efforts and this showed late in the game when Pittonet followed up his ruck work and kicked the ball off the ground twice which resulted in scores.
Ham,Zakka & Snelling offered us nothing on the ground or with tackling pressure.
Fantasia hasn't played well for a long time now and we can't keep carrying him and I could name more.
With the way we set up down forward and lack of height we need to get Zerk Thatcher back into the team and play one of Francis, Hooker or Hurley forward ?.
The most disappointing thing for me tonight is that Carlton get themselves up to play us every single time yet we think we can just turn it on for 5 minutes and it will be enough.
No wonder other supporters hate us we are arrogant, over rated and SOFT as butter we get out muscled every week !!
I will get bagged for going too hard or over reacting but this is my honest opinion and has been for several years...

Shiel copped a hard tag with zero assistance from our other mids but still put up a good fight. Ridiculous to pot him tonight.

Not looking forward to next week. Pies coming off a bad loss and by all indications, going to be wet.

We will still try and play dry weather footy, we always do.

no year is a nothing year. If Covid and bushfires have taught us anything there is only the present.

Gives us nothing down back nowadays especially with his decision making and disposal !!, might be worth a try as a forward again also what's keeping Zerk Thatcher out of the team atm ?.

1) Leaving Ambrose out was a huge mistake. He was always the best match up for Casboult.

2) We have to play another tall forward. Hooker may be the only option right now, they have to roll the dice.

3) We have to rebalance the physical make up of the team. Simply to many players under 183 and not competitive in the air. Of the midget brigade I think only MCGrath and Fanta are even remotely competitive in the air. Far too often the ball carrier simply doesn’t have a realistic option to kick to. I would look at removing Snelling and Zaharakis as a start, just on performance.

Can anyone gets stats for this? I feel like no other team would have so many sub 183 cm players.

Snelling meets the play like Richmond KPI so he stays.

I have to be honest, it's not just tonight that I've noticed his lack of second efforts seems to be a habit which creeping into his game.
Lot's of players get tagged but the difference is the good players work their socks off to shake the tag ?, watch the game again and see how often he was on his own and unaccountable for a player. He's what I call a down hill skier...

You know what? No. Bring on lockdowns.

This team is a whore that needs to be told no, I’m better than this.

I’m getting rid of these STIs and I’m moving to mother city (lol) and cutting you out.

Have to say - we looked like we had an unplanned weekend off. It’s like the local footy equivalent of the week after half your team goes to Splendour in the Grass. We were terrible but it was a slightly different type of terrible to the one that usually pops up. Blues beat the cats last week. Cheer up everyone, we will probably bounce back.

They were one man short and outworked us and outran us. If they had of kicked straight woulda been a comfortable 4 or 5 goal win for them

Zacka needs to go, Snelling and Ham were poor. Play Phillips as T-Bell is a lummox around the ground.

Need 2 TALLS. This means Stewart and Smacks.

Not just down to one specific player for tonight's shambolic display, but Hooker cannot stay in defence.

He can no longer run (could he ever says Buddy) and will end up a liability down back. Play him deep forward to contest the high ball that we keep trying to sit on Tippas' head. Play ****ing BZT in defense for ****s sake and get some games into him.
