Yellow numbers BOG. Can we bring them back permanently please.

Roast:
  • Dangerous tackle decisions. Get stuffed.
  • ARC. Get stuffed.
  • Lynch's kicking.

Toast:
  • Yellow numbers
  • Pregame war cry was amazing
  • Tarrant, Ross, edwards had great games after being criticised all year
  • ******* love Baker. Favourite player now.
  • Complete team performance, lots of players had a good game.

Keen to see what changes we make next week.
yeah yellow numbers make the new above number sponsorship that gill brought in bearable

its a dogs breakfest with the sash on the back, the white numbers with outline and the above number sponsorship

The official explanation as to why the snicko thing wasn't used for dustys goal just highlights the level of corruption we cop...

Wtf “crowd noise”. Excluding COVID-affected games, tell us a time there isn’t crowd noise when the ball goes through the goalposts. Even Gold Coast have crowd noise in their home games. How embarrassing is this explanation of theirs

My eyes aren't the greatest and find the white on yellow sash so hard to read sometimes. I keep confusing short 15 and Aarts 16 lol.

Toast
  • Richmond’s pre-game
  • Baker just being everywhere
  • Maurice pressure acts
  • that essendon guy with the same olds bag on his head

Roast
  • Lunch kicking
  • Dusty decision making with ball in hand
  • all facets of umpiring (score review, fifties, “dangerous” tackles)

If the technology can't block out a 70k crowd it's only going to be reliable when minnows are playing.

Kodak cameras made a comeback
Afl using this state of the art technology
From 1986.
Polaroid, they waited for the 10 by 10 pixel photo to develop.

Rock solid W , glad we were at least challenged and found a way with little contribution from lynch and dusty . Special mention to jack , was brilliant , go as far as saying best he’s played in 2y . Backline formidable , taz much much better , looked composed , backed himself , and kicked well no more MiCK Martyn tumblers,,,shame that goal was overturned as it was a cracker from outside 50
Interesting whether we bring in miller or just go with ivy soldo as an extra tall F50 ,, he competes well , doesnt clunk too many , will bring to ground
malion back , jack G too I’d expect ,,,let’s goooo

okay which one of you did this?

I don't reckon the umps would dare duck us over in a granny with all eyes on them. Probably why we smash teams in grannies.
I cant believe how bad we are officiated

when will it stop. we should sue the afl. benny and peggy are both lawyers. reckon we'd win

Stack or Cumberland have to come in surely.
Have to.. blues went small in their forward line vs Swans and it worked a treat

I’ll be livid if neither Stack or Cumberland comes in

Baker BOG for me. The amount of times he caused a spillage against bigger opponents by going back with the flight was amazing.

Credit where credit’s due for Castagna. He shovelled the ball out at the start of the second for MRJ’s first goal. Kicked a goal at start of second. Ended with 19 touches, a goal and 8 score involvements.

Edwards was also sent off into retirement too early . 21 touches, a goal and 8 score involvements. Solid game and far better than what RCD, Dow or Stack would’ve provided.

And kudos to Tarrant … kept an in-form 200cm forward scoreless. It’s the exact reason we recruited him and it paid off tonight in spades.

And finally, is there anyone left who think we erred in giving Cotchin and Riewoldt another season?

Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com
let's be fair, Edwards had many chances to come up to speed on his form, had Stack had the same chance you would be singing a different tune.

That was a tough watch.
Can’t see myself making the trek for our next two homes games on a Thursday night.
I said just before half time to the guys I went with that I wouldn’t complain of we all went home.
footy is almost dead.
70,000 is a clear indication that people are voting with their feet. That fixture should get 80,000 without even trying.
loved:
tarrant on Wright. Smashed him.
baker - just makes things happen
D. Rioli- I was wrong
prestia - the most underrated midfielder in the competition
The pregame - more entertaining the onfield action
Bolton - is there a better indigenous player in the comp right now?
riewoldt - moving so much better the last month
nank - the most underrated ruckman in the comp
Ross - still don’t think very highly of him, but credit where it is due. He was good.
heavy beer in glass while watching behind glass

hated:
umpiring
our inability to put vastly inferior opposition away for three weeks in a row now
every ****ing year the only games there is trouble in the crowd is against Essendon. What is it with them?
trains and buses on the geelong line. Disgrace.
The game in general. I have never had so little interest in the game as a whole.
umpiring

changes
In: Pickett, Graham, Cumberland
Out: Lynch, Lambert (injured), Ross

tough on Ross, but them’s the breaks. That needs to be his standard now, and if he consistently reaches those standards, he plays

They were determined to find a noise that is made when the ball hit the post ... couldn't find it because:

The ball did not hit the post or

That absolute pile of lies offered above as an excuse to protect an incorrect call. Ball wasn't that high for a start!

To hide the lie, they refuse to display the technology they've employed to resolve umpire question / error.

If inconclusive, the show that it is, then get to work and correct it.

Can't say, oh no, there's noise at the MCG again, we cant use technology. It maybe needed to determine the result of a critical final.

Never, ever let Marketing or HR near rules, regulations or explaining the game. Dumbfux who think their study makes them QC's. AFL house and the broadcasters at their worst.
