Great fight back. Experience prevailed in the end.
Ffs I hope the selection committee select someone to help Jack next week. Guys clearly cooked and is doing it all on his own

it's some epic wirely old man shit he is pulling out there. It's amazing to watch. He reminds me of watching Larry Birdin his final years - bodies were cooked & the speed of the game had passed them by, but they just stayed relevant using nous, experience and more will power.

Just didn't get in my votes but absolutely loved Banks' game today. Huge progression at the level and took it on at every realistic opportunity.

Cumbo kicked 6 so you'd think someone like Mansell might be on trouble as he didn't take his chances.

I'd like Coulthard to get a full game, but his impact as the sub was significant so it wouldn't shock me if he is the sub again next week.

yep…as I said earlier..7 crucial touches in the last quarter…he got us going and the boys knew it…look back at the replay and watch Dusty go to him several times

after the game, Jack and Cotch both mentioned Coulthard impact in the last
He will be telling his mates, just how good he is. Rightly so. Will be in the starting 22 next week.

scats board melting hard that we won

That last half of the last quarter was an intriguing battle in the coaches box tactically. I have to give credit to the commentary team who were brilliant. They called out the crap umpiring and were on point with describing the tactical battle.

never heard commentators melt about the umps that much in our favour

and yeah reminded me of ricky ponting's cricket commentary with them calling out tactics and potential changes and then it happening a min later

Shouldn’t have been that hard, but my goodness this team has some grit under Mini. Couldn’t win close ones or come back from 5 goals down under Dimma, but we’ve done both today.

Just put on a hula dress and do a raindance every night for that game if we field that team again. It is too slow

Haha, who would have thought me to be standing on the slight side of "sentimental":D

You are most likely right, but ultimately i think KMac was key in the last. Pickett one some key 1on1s during that time as well & had the smarts to milk the clock and walk way back etc in that final 30 seconds to secure the W.

I haven;t seen and VFL stuff - who were the key performers?

It would be quite a lot to bring in both Cumberland and Coulthard at the same time - but admittedly, it could be a HUGE game changer for us moving forward in the same way Townsend/Graham were in 2017. Just added a new element, last minute, the the opponents haven't spent all year working out.

Yeah, **** it. Your right, lets bring them in:thumbsu:

Yeah well put! Kingy and Bucks were butting heads a bit early but when the game started getting close they were on point.

Hopefully some media jump on the umpiring from the game through the week. Some of the shit Sicily was getting away with was bemusing to see.
