Posted this on main board... Surprised no one has mentioned that THIS is the destination of Rankine's final kick. Not only was it not marked by a Crows player, Tay Walker was holding Moore's arm to reduce his impact on the contest. It was fleeting but it was there. This is what I thought the free was for.

Crows must rehearse that hold well. There was a similar holding of Moore’s hand in the first quarter that lead to a crows goal.

My question on the technical point remains (i.e. is the back edge of the goal line in this situation the back edge of the post or is it the padding?)

15 m is 15m, anything around that ok let go, but 10m more no thanks

Before I see it on replay I just have a huge kudos to Darcy Cameron for being a solid wall on the wing/half-back.

Naicos to DeGoey will always be the best call (closely followed by Pendlebury to Daicos)
