They were saying 6-8 in the coverage. I guess scans tomorrow will shed further light on it. Bloody bad luck given how resilient he’s been. Guess we’ll see one of our kids get an opportunity now.

I'd very much like to read what you enjoyed from the game today mate.
Was hoping (just hoping) for a big win.
I knew inside me that we would not deliver this desire, that the game would not be in doubt but that we would let them off the hook. And, this is what happened.
We were 53 pts up at one stage but didn't go on with it. The selfish supporter in me wanted an 80+ point win so it was disappointing to see us cruise in by 35 points.
Again, i just want to see the team sniff blood and go in for the kill when the opportunity presents. The Cats last year would have won that game by 80+ going away. We did it to Port & GWS only so far but missed this chance. I don't know why we let it slip. Was North really that good? Maybe they deserve more credit.
I don't feel like we are there yet in terms of delivering in a GF. I should feel convinced but I'm not. I guess I'm waiting to see that ruthless football come out to play more often than not.

Goldstein destroyed Cameron. Cox barely rucked today and mainly played as a forward. Which kind of makes sense. Use today as a way to get more centre game time into Cameron as he builds upon his return from injury.
Didn’t Cameron also have a MCL strain? I’d expect the smaller lighter Sidebottom to recover faster than Cameron.
I’m gonna suggest we’ll see Sidey back in 4 weeks’ time which would only be three games missed.

Well it was a win,that’s the most important thing.I don’t think we were ever going to win by 15 goals or whatever,because that’s not how we play.We always seem to play in fits and starts and give the opposition periods of dominance,and that happened again today.I wouldn’t be too concerned about the last quarter,because it seemed like the players went into self protection mode then and were just playing out for time.

I think we need to acknowledge Nick Daicos’ game today as his most complete as a midfielder. 11 contested possessions, 6 tackles and 7 clearances in addition to his goal and 4 score involvements. He was only second best to Jordy today who was an absolute beast.

Yep, Norf went OK.
Ratten is a solid coach. Would take him over Voss any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Poor Murph had a rough day at the office and Sidey's injury was a bummer but the game itself was never in doubt.
Next.
Yeah I thought we'd push on to win by 10 goals at that point. But it's only May! If we are injury free and humming in September I'll be very happy.

Unlucky for Sidey. Glad Coxy snagged one for his family. Though I would have liked us to win the last quarter we were never threatened and further cemented top spot. JDG was superb. Go Pies!!!!
