You're joking, surely? How is giving extra trades ever a good thing? More trades affects the entire season, 1 round of less players scoring is only 1 week.

Because less of my premo scores will count in Round 14 so lose points, and those with Rich/WCE players will smash me in Round 13 because they’ve got extra premos playing against my rookies.

That’s why extra trades is fairer. Allows me to get Rich/WCE players in and allows others with them to get others for Round 14.

No. We didn’t get extra trades when the season was postponed, we just got given the ability to use 5 trades before Round 2 instead of 2.

We got given extra trades when the fixtures changed later in the year and they had their festival of footy with a game each day.

My bye splits are pretty even so even if I'm missing my 2 Tiges in Rd14 I'll still have 15 starters and I was going to use 2 trades that round anyway to do my final upgrade. No big deal if I use 3 instead to make 18, just means I end up getting a better player with my upgrade as I'll do a second down. If they want to chuck in 1 extra free trade on top of the 30 we already have I won't complain. I suspect they'll keep it as best 18 and give us 2 extra trades though, which is one too many imo.

ok sure, but 20+ matches in like a week and a half, complete fixture changes, as opposed to 1 match being moved

Tend to agree. One is probably the right amount, but there are many that will have Short and Dusty. Perhaps lucky WCE is largely SC irrelevant. If it was Tigers vs Dogs moved as originally rumoured there’d be a meltdown.

Yeah it’s very different, for sure, but much fairer to all involved to add an extra trade IMO.

Either way, they should announce the plan NOW so that we can then make an informed decision on this weeks trades. I’d be looking at getting Dusty this week if the plan is drop it to best 16 or something.
