Better trading out three non-playing players than reducing from best 18 to best 16.

Wouldn’t trade those players you mention, of course, but I would happily trade others out for playing players (Atkins, Jiath and probably Dev Robertson)

You think people will trade Short, Dusty and Nic Nat for 1 round? Players like RCD yes. Try and consider everybody's situations not just your own for once. FWIW I also was at a massive disadvantage last year with the Melb v Ess game.

Set up a trade strategy which will run me through byes pretty well and basically completed team at Rd 14 with 8-9 injury trades remaining - and we're gonna make it easier on trade wh*res with no real benefit to me.

I'd say it's more the trades, you've made lots of them, but they've been good ones. Everybody suffered from rookie lottery, me moreso than most, because I went pure GnR (12 keepers + Ziebell, rest rookies)

Anyway I'm just playing, your team is great, better than mine, I fully expect you to finish in the top 500, which is a great turnaround

But your view on extra trades is very selfish imo. I have blown through trades as well, I'd love some extras, but it is 100000% not fair

No, of course they wouldn’t trade those players out. They’d trade other non-playing players (similar to Atkins, Jiath, Poulter).

Players you wouldn’t upgrade (or rookies you couldn’t cull) otherwise but extra trades allow you to do.

Because less of my premo scores will count in Round 14 so lose points, and those with Rich/WCE players will smash me in Round 13 because they’ve got extra premos playing against my rookies.

That’s why extra trades is fairer. Allows me to get Rich/WCE players in and allows others with them to get others for Round 14.

Exactly. It's like he is the only person playing SC. Every player that scores well that he doesn't own or doesn't start on ground can get f#%ked though.

No matter how the schedule changes it's going **** someone over, there is no avoiding it. For our man Cactus who's in the running for the money it sucks. For the rest of us, shit happens, this is a game.

Seeing as we're measuring dicks, that Ess vs Mel game messed me up last season too, I had 4 playing in it AND had traded Bennell in as he was named to play on the bubble, then he got dropped and wasn't picked again for ages. Still managed to finish 248 for the season. One bad week doesn't ruin your season.
