I've never liked the look of Sheridan/Sutcliffe/Crozier all in the 22, just don't think we can play the three of them and be successful against the top sides.

I concur. Sheridan & Crozier can be flaky at times. Sutcliffe is going thru a rough patch.

I think we've really been missing Duffields run and precision kicking out of defence. If he has a good game for Peel this week I hope he comes straight back in. Sheridan seems to put to much hang time on his kicks and doesn't have the depth in his kicking compared to Duff. There wont be drastic changes to the team for next week, maybe 2 changes max.

can anyone guess what Crozier did or didn't do to get subbed. Thought others were having less impact.

You went pretty early with subbing Hayden Crozier out?
We just wanted a bit more grunt around the ball and push Matty de Boer forward. We thought our pressure in the front half and our physicality could've been better. So Matty de Boer plays that role really well. We thought we got a bit out of him in the midfield. We know (Nick) Suban has been good in the midfield. We know he can really impact. So it was (Hayden) Crozier for de Boer and Suban for de Boer in the midfield.

Won't be a popular view but Pearce D had another poor game making it 4 in a row. Unfortunately we have to carry him for now but hopefully Weller has a blinder on the weekend to at least put some pressure on him to lift

ONE poor game and you want him dropped!

1 goal between Pav, Ballas, Mayne and Hannath is ******* disgraceful.

Our forward line is a shambles and something needs to happen.

My angry trades

Out: Hannath, Ballas, Mayne
in: Clarke, Duffy, Tabs

Will watch the replay tomorrow and reassess but something needs to change.

Do you realise how much Ballas and Mayne do? Bumping, tapping, goal assists, tackles!!!

Not sure about the grunt argument re: Suban v DeBoer. Think Matt is probably a bit harder than Suban.

Think Crozier is a bit miscast with us at the moment. I really think he is a midfielder. He has the footskills, the pace and the hands to be a good outside player, like he plays with Peel. Of course then we get into the does he replace Hill (no) or D Pearce (not as yet).

Jogging tackle (5 six player in congestion tackle) vs chase tackle. ( d. Peace get caught holding the ball)

I would rather Crozier, MZ, Weller, take D Pearce spot ATM. He has needed a spell in the seconds for awhile now. This argument about Grunt
doesn't make sense with D Pearce, Sherro, Sutcliffe gifted games, and MZ on the outer.

Brisbane next so we ll rest any of Pav, McPharlin and SAndi.
IN: Tabs, Clarke, Blakely
OUT: Hannath, Ballas, Sheridan/Suttclife and Pav

We now have a 10 day break so when the Brisbane game rolls round we'll have played once in 21 days so I doubt anyone will need a rest. Is more likely to happen against Carlton and/or GWS.

Why can't people take it positive that mundy play one or two match in wafl to inspire young kids. Even Luke hodge rioli play some vfl when back from injury. I rather mundy get 29 possession game and 15 advantage Assit , 3 chase tackle ( caught opposition holding the ball, than only tackle when in center of the ground or ball up( 25 tackle in a game) and handball to a player with two on one.

Maybe because most people don't think he had a bad game.

He's hardly had a bad game this season and there's a few players who are more down in form then Mundy. Apart from Duffield, sending a 200 gamer to the WAFL is hardly going to do anything. Who you replace Mundy with? Blakely?

Your honour, I can see you're not happy with Jack's 8 disposals 10 Hitouts, 1 mark and 2 tackles in his 17th game and that is understandable. But if I may present one more piece of evidence. Please consider the following stats from Zac Clarke's 17th game.

Disp: 1

HO: 12
FF : 0

The thing with Hannath is the way he played last night is how he plays in the WAFL week after week, very average.
Clarke tore the East Perth game apart last week something that Hannath has never been able to get close to.

Thanks FreoRicci, you read my mind will , just impatience to see young mundy ( blakely play full game) , since mundy can play sucflift role.

Fair enough. Your man Zac will be back in the firsts next week anyway. I just reckon Jack is the sort of body type that takes a while (a bit like big Aaron). Jack could be very handy after Sandi retires.

We miss this, but Duffield hasn't been providing run and is barely touching the ball enough to put his precision kicking to use.

He may get a reprieve with Johnson out and our need for quality users down back. Would need to have a solid match for Peel otherwise I think it sends the wrong message.

So you're in the "10 tackles is better than 10 goals camp".

1 goal between Pav, Ballas, Mayne and Hannath in the last two games. That's 1 goal in two games from 4 of our 6 forwards. You think we'll beat the Hawks at the MCG with that type of performance. Do they give out medals or trophies for most tackles and bumps laid in a GF?

edit: apologies, Big Hannath kicked a goal in the GC game. However I still think my point stands, 2 goals in 2 games from 4 forwards is terrible.
