I’ll delete the post. It’s a joke rubbing people the wrong way.
It didn't make sense. There's no corona on the gold coast at the moment, unless you were talking about the beer, which you don't really catch. So no one can catch corona in a gold coast strip club.

Grundy should be ashamed of himself. Never seen a guy get pushed out of the ruck so often by a guy 10kgs lighter. Going to ground in ruck contests. Took the 7 years and money and ran for his life. Would drop him to reach him a lesson.

Stephenson just trade him and cut our losses. Don’t want someone as soft as him in the team.

Phillips thank god he did his hammy so I don’t have to watch him.

Hard call on who’s the softest player to ever pull on the jumper than Stevo WHE or phillps.

If cal brown is an afl footy player then I might as well have a crack at the draft.

We aren’t winning flags with Stephenson WHE cal brown Phillips in our side. Use these players to trade and get in the draft or acquire some talent from other clubs

I normally don’t lose my sh*t over players but ffs if Callum Brown plays another game for Collingwood I’m microwaving my membership and posting it to the club. Surely Murphy, Bianco or Rantall would give more than him. Also don’t get me started on the softest player ever to wear black and white, Stephenson, he’s a disgrace to that number 1.
I mean Fasolo and Davis aren’t exactly the hardest players to ever play the game...

Faz was inconsistent but always gave a contest never once thought of him as soft and Leon was Mercurial and would go missing but again was not soft no way. Stevo really only puts in a bare minimum of effort if not in a contest and as for getting a hard ball forget about it. It’s not just me saying it look at Bucks comments about him this year.

Harsh but all true.

Cox was okay. Two goals and set up a certainty with a good mark and glorious pass to Checkers. He was far from our worst. He stays for the rest of the year. Players need to be at his feet. He neutralised more than enough contests.
People ignore the fact he gets pushed off the ball over and over and allow intercept marks, doesn’t even bring it to ground or provide any sort of contest. It kills us

Grundy struggling a bit, hopefully this bye freshens him up a bit. Probably should have had a rest a few games ago after so many games in a shortened period.

I guess it’s a positive in someways that we played okay against a top two side on their home deck and probably should have won if we could use the ball going forward. However that has been a consistent issue for a while, so it’s hard to imagine it suddenly clicking. Not sure we can win the flag, but how we come out against the Suns after time off will be the biggest indicator.

I feel like Grundy is absolutely shot at the moment. He was unable to hold his ground with his lower body and has no speed - reeks of injury.

All those garbage passengers have to go. Sayonara WHE, Phillips and Cal Brown. You won’t be missed
Should've pulled the pin and rested Grundy ages a go. Now it gets harder. Bank a win against gc then rest. Needs back up. Why not chuck roughhead or Cox in more often?

Weird. We have positives to work on to spite the loss they have some concerns to spite the win.

My concerns:
- Pressure our backline and they will turn it over. A growing concern for me, frustrating to watch...
- Mid/Forward connection is embarrassing! Obvious one.
- Basic skills, lack of, rustiness, who knows. Just examples not trying to ridicule players but Mihocek's marking was off last night and Elliott's field kicking at times was awful!

He really should have. The 4 in 14 was especially hard on him given the massive workload he shoulders each game.

Oh well, onwards and upwards from here. Considering the players out, we nearly stole the match, which means with some players back, we can handle Brisbane.
Positives are Daicos, Noble, Quaynor and Madgen and the whole defence continues to stand up, despite a couple of clangers. These things can be corrected immediately.
The concerns are the ability to score despite winning majority of the key stats. Grundy's form has all but disappeared, the dropped mark in the goal square topped it off, Stephenson's disinterest in playing or is he completely derived of any form and confidence? Maynards corkie, but he should get over it as we have a decent break from here until GC. Phillips gone for the rest of the home and away, but l think was on the verge of making way out of the side.
Must win against GC, and win well. No excuses if we are expecting to play finals. Hopefully Bianco or Rantall get a debut, to replace Phillips.

I just think the conditions we didn't handle at all, the number of balls we fumbled, missed handballs, dropped marks was ridiculous. That couldn't be all skill, surely that has to be dew, and the Qld conditions. Hopefully against GC, we can handle it better, otherwise could be a ordinary night.

Who'd have guessed you would see that on an internet forum
You missed the point. A forum like this is moderated to ensure random thoughts aren’t turned into threads. The OP can post meaningless tripe but it should be contained within the post game thread. That way it will dissolve into all the other tripe that gets posted.

Anyone wondering why we are an average team fighting for 8th, it really is this simple.

Season totals:

Collingwood: 476 more kicks than handballs.
Geel: 889 more kicks than handballs
Rich: 734 more kicks than handballs
Port: 751 more kicks than handballs
GWS: 759 more kicks than handballs
Saints: 921 more kicks than handballs
Eagles: 1100 more kicks than handballs
Bris: 1249 more kicks than handballs

Tonight? Bris had 73 more more kicks than handballs, we had 8!!

what do handballs lead to? Turnovers: Bris goals from turnovers: 5 goals.

It’s not rocket science why we are not competitive. Instead of relieving pressure with one kick to a contest, we would rather use 5 handballs.

Unless any of the above changes we can expect much of the same unfortunately.
I was always taught not to handball in the back line

Never saw David Dench best Backman I've seen handball
What a soft soft lack of responsibility

Playing hot potato

We’ve kept them to their 2nd lowest score for the year. Richmond kept them to one point less and thrashed them.
More often than not the Lions score heavily.
We just need a functioning forward line. It’s hard when you watch on tv but it doesn’t seem we move the ball slow but we can rarely find a free target inside 50. What is the issue?

Tim English round 1 hasnt done sh*t all since he can't do his graffiti in hosier lane
Over rated trys to rove his own taps
Putrid rubbish
Simply won't stop staging for free kicks at boundary throw ins
He's a real weekends in the defensive 50 at boundary throw ins

He's supposed to be intelligent?

Vardy,Finlayson,McStay
Who next Caleb daniels

I'll go early witts to be bog

In all our losses other than Essendon, we’ve had more inside 50’s than the opposition. Getting it in there isn’t the problem, how we get it in there is.

Is it because we kick and don’t look? Our forwards leading patterns? We don’t know how to make space inside 50?

Fasolo was extremely soft and lazy
