A year to forget for Darcy Moore. He can't get a kick or read any contest with confidence at the minute and yet they don't plant him on the opposition's best forward.

Really feel for IQ tonight. Was left on an island to play on one of the best forwards in the competition and battled all night, while our 'fearless' captain roamed across half back on a 4th gamer and had absolutely zero impact.

It's gotten to the point you may as well just throw him forward for the rest of the year.

For the first time I'm questioning Craig McRae's gameday tactics.

Effort was okay (Besides that last quarter), but just way too many basic skill errors and only playing for 5 minute periods and then stopping.

Not expecting much for the rest of the season. At best we could scrape into the top 8, but even that’s looking doubtful now.

We can't ignore the draft any more. No more role player top up trades and mid free agents.

Some big decisions need to be made on some of our players who will not be around for the next tilt.

How can the effort be OK when Geelong have 145 marks? That means nobody is pressing up, they're just standing guarding space.

If the greatest defensive coach ever as per Fly’s words in Leppa is to sit back and allow teams to have 150 uncontested marks per game …then he’s taking the piss.

We used to have a mantra that was “play the minutes”.
Now it’s become let the opposition take the mins off the clock weekly.

Oh well, at least nobody can say we didn't try, but the gap between a mostly healthy team and one decimated by injury was just too big to overcome and that's been pretty clear in this last quarter.

It is what it is, we're just not not able to put a 22 out on the ground that can compete against the top teams at this stage and with our run home making the top 8 appears to be a pipe dream, unless something miraculous unfolds over the last 5 weeks of the season.

to be fair this was a much better performance than last week .... but players look shot - mentally and physically (2 years going deep in to september will do that)

pendles cant run and his left arm is hanging by a thread (the 2 quite possibly related)
