Prediction Round 24 Changes vs. Port Adelaide

If we’re a mathematical chance next Sunday afternoon we’ll lose to Port as the cool nice guys at Freo don’t handle pressure.

If Bullies and Blues both get their wins, we’ll no doubt come out and win by 40 plus. “Honourable ninth place” will be pushed to the supporters by the club.

We all know that’s what will happen.

We've lost the last 3, you dudes are delusional.
We aren't beating port, and Carlton will probs roll the Toast today.
Put a fork in it, and start planning for next season.
Delist plodders and use those draft picks ****ing wisely
Yep agreed.

Most of the season looked good. Looked like a finals team until those narrow defeats came in. That Essendon lost by a point deflated us.

Cats were too fit and too experienced.

GWS did just enough to survive us. It's sad 😭 because we will get 9th.

Teams like Carlton will get the finals spot because they screwed us and had a softer draw

The magic is gone too. Personally reckon Brodie would’ve done more in his role this year, but we’ll never know.

Yep, he's a great big bodied in and under which is what we need (what Brayshaw needs to become) but his decision making was poor at times and jesus his kicking has got so much worse. Know there's complaints about Brodie's tank and two way running but christ he was getting the ball and using it well in his first year with us. And people point to last year but we all sucked last year.

That’s on Jlo. Something happened and Jlo can’t look past it.

Really Worner as sub over Brodie. Erasmus over him against Essendon..

Suss.

I think some of his best moments were just let down by poor finishing. Great lowering of the eyes and composure to set up Amiss for his miss from 40 straight in front. In the last at that first centre bounce he showed great desperation, got onto the ground and extracted that clearance before Jackson and Freddy turned it over, resulting in the Greene goal.

Don't get me wrong, he was still capable of great things this year (was it against the bullies that it was like Fyfe of old?) but these moments of great things are getting less and less. His hands aren't as clean whereas Brodie is known for his good clean hands.

It would have been great if his kicking wasn't so bad and he could have spent his final years bullying his way around as a mid forward.

What do you see his role being next year if hypothetically Warner came?
Fyfe? Depends on how badly his battered body is.

If he is certain about his body and 2025 is his last season, and this could apply to Walters to a small degree.... Give them both the Pavlich role of 2016.

Make both blokes just play the Perth home state games. So that's 12 games next season and let them play every final.

If Warner is traded in, let Fyfe rotate as a forward flanker and on the bench. He can still get his 20-25 disposals a game and kick a goal

Question to determine just how full your glass is. If we go into the game and are already out of the finals. Is it impressive or irrelevant if they beat Port?

Irrelevant.

Winning means the team can only perform when they are under no pressure = mentally weak team which lacks a uncompromising attitude to winning.

Losing means we are miles off a flag. Fans will be out for blood on Monday.

Irrelevant. Borderline infuriating.
Nah, here's the infuriating part if that happens. We miss finals having probably 4th best percentage in the league, 13 and 1/2 wins, having beaten three of the top 5 and losing the 3 non-asterisk games against top 5 by a combined margin of 23 points...

Funsies

Like I said, a season literally hand crafted to be as painful as possible for us.
