Floreat Pica, Bitch!
He's no world beater but would be interested to know why mcmahon wasn't given more time. Has some traits as a forward
None of them involve contesting though.

Jiath and Dean looked the best prospects.Macrae was good without being outstanding, leggy took a step forward, Carmy can kick a goal but not much else. Thought Allan and HH in particular were disappointing.
Begg is not a Ruck. Hopefully Steene just a minor rolled ankle and is back next week. We need him in the ruck and forward
Take the points
Dean got much better as the game went on. Jiath me likeJiath and Dean looked the best prospects.
HH and Allan have got attributes but they look a bit dopey.
I had high hopes IF he could put on some bulk - but now 2 more years down the track and he’s no stronger.A performance not talked about is Liam McMahon, former player drafted in the second round in 2020. Good showing from him today. Felt he was stiff to be cut after two seasons and one spent in a new position.

I can’t see how he makes it, if he can’t hold his ground in contests.
HH has some odd decision making.
Brown got more Chances at AFL Level then FinCallum brown just won the best vic player against SA. We know brown and macrae are good vfl footballers. It’s the next step that’s the issue for both atm
yes, under the previous regimeBrown got more Chances at AFL Level then Fin
I think Oleg might come back in.He will likely get another chance next week Spinny with pendles. I want him to make it.
It’s a tough one. I guess with macrae and Mitchell it’s just solely inside mids that can’t play anywhere else. Is macrae the right player for pendles? Mitchell AND macrae is prob to much.I think Oleg might come back in.
Honest opinion. He goes alright when he's not under pressure. But he's a little suspect when under pressure. He's still a work in progress who will definitely step up next year when a few of our veterans retire. So what's everyone's opinion of Fin today? He really is a level above but he needs to grab his next chance with both hands
I'd go with JDG, Nick, Mitchell and Crisp as full time mids - that covers the centre square. Lipinski for coverage if we need anyone to chop out. It’s a tough one. I guess with macrae and Mitchell it’s just solely inside mids that can’t play anywhere else. Is macrae the right player for pendles? Mitchell AND macrae is prob to much.
Night and day for markov between today and his last game.
She didn’t at any point say never. And her assessment was likely on the mark, no matter how badly you want it to not be.Too early to say never. Some players haven’t even started their careers at his age.
His development at AFL level has been limited. With more time, he will improve.
He was ok, but nothing about him screams AFL level KPP.A performance not talked about is Liam McMahon, former player drafted in the second round in 2020. Good showing from him today. Felt he was stiff to be cut after two seasons and one spent in a new position.
Thats because Call was a long way ahead if Fin at the same time of his career and looked a lot better at AFL level. Even so that wasn't enough for him to make it longer term but he played 22 games in his 3rd seasonBrown got more Chances at AFL Level then Fin
In order to resign him he would need to actually be on our list. It's officially Crock O'Clock
Resign this bloke and put him at full forward !!!!!
I don't think Sullivan is low in the pecking order. He's an experienced VFL player who they likely thought could fill-in for Ryan. Someone had to do it and his profile best suited the call. It happens.Sullivan didn't quite set the world on fire in his new role but did some good things late. I think it was Jen who said it was indicative his position in the pecking order to be moved out of the midfield, but I disagree a bit. I thought moving him around was a sign of them really rating him and searching for a different way to get into the seniors.
When the game was on the line at the start of the 4th you saw him move into the middle which I thought was more of a sign to where he fits in the pecking order.
Why haven't we got a tall amongst our VFL listed players?
We agree on that
He looks good - quite a handsome, clean cut sort of chap with a decent body shape.(Bytel) Looks a really good kick.
Hutchinson, Glover, Dowling, Long, Silvagni, Sof to name a few are tall. Farrant is another name but you may not have heard of him. He's playing local in the short term to trim down but should feature later. Why haven't we got a tall amongst our VFL listed players?
What don't you see in Bytel?credit where credit is due, macrae has been solid without being outstanding. Def the pick of the mids atm. Bytel. I still ask why.
