This is my team and it’s the absolute worst I’ve seen…yet. I mean. Why?

Not club colours, not ANZAC etc etc.

It a Navy junior sailors ceremonial uniform.

I would have inverted the colours, white with a blue bib is the summer ceremonial uniform, ANZAC day in Sydney is always in the dark blue winter rig (and it’s always bloody hot during the March wearing it). The grey thing above the MG logo is meant to the be neck tie.

On the white summer uniform, there is blue piping around the edges, which is the bottom part.

I agree, it isn’t great. I think South’s have a sponsorship with the Navy, hence the uniform.

I just saw a very alarming stat. we are the second worst team in the afl at winning a contest in the d50. if we lose contest most of the time no wonder we get scored against so heavily, collingwood kicked like 7 in a row i think.
Interesting
That seems to confirm the eye test
Our backline is stronger aerially but looks discombobulated when the ball hits the deck.
Quality small forwards will have a field day against us, even Hill had a day out

Also told you so that Hayes is better than Sweet.
Yep. I'd be very interested to hear what all the Sweet fans and Hayes detractors over the offseason think that Sweet did on Saturday which Hayes couldn't have done.

Just on Sweet is he dropped now and basically never seen again unless Soldo is injured or managed?
Certainly should be.

Might actually be a good thing that we tried the experiment in April. Now we've all seen how terribly it worked, we hopefully won't go back to that well at the business end.

He will be behind Dixon, Finlayson when back in a week and Lord also in a few weeks.
So yes.

I need to see him play again I never put a line through someone after 1 game at the club.. except maybe Evans

We couldn't run an effective two prong ruck thing under Hinkley to save ourselves anyway it would'nt matter if it was Max Gawn & peak Paddy Ryder.

Took the field?

The problem Hayes faced was our idiot coaches were terrified of him making them look like morons so wouldnt play him.

Our coach is Ken Hinkley. Im not sure he's ever learned anything from any game.

Rest assured after Collingwood systematically dismantled the myth of PA we will continue to see this club destroyed both from the inside and out. I cannot see us recovering from the mental scarring that this club has received under hinkley.

Yeah I've got no problem with Sweet playing again. Just not when Soldo's playing.

In the Mix Quote: There were some strong performances in the SANFL that may also give the selection committee food for thought when picking the team to play the Saints, including from Francis Evans and Dylan Wiliams.

Playing on the ball and then going forward against Woodville-West Torrens, Evans got his hands dirty while also adding some polish in front of goals. He had a game-high eight tackles to go with his 20 disposals and added 2.2 on the scoreboard.

It backed up a strong showing against West Adelaide a week earlier when he had 22 possessions and two goals.

Williams won plenty of the ball patrolling across half back, finishing with 24 touches and nine marks as well as a game-high eight rebound 50s.
