Agree with McKenzie, would love to see him playing higher up the ground. Have no idea of how much speed he’s lost over the past two years but in his early Suns days did some time on a wing.

I just saw a very alarming stat. we are the second worst team in the afl at winning a contest in the d50. if we lose contest most of the time no wonder we get scored against so heavily, collingwood kicked like 7 in a row i think.
I think that stat was ground ball contest in the D50.

Seeing a lot of talk that a win against St. Kilda is a foregone conclusion, and it probably is. However, think of the potential of a loss here. It would be kinda amazing to see these losers squirm when even their flat tracking deserts them.

It's unlikely however if Ross the Boss could inspire a hardnose defensive bore of epic proportions from his side which he's capable of it's possible.

ALA Freo game which we really should have lost

That same Freo that got torched by the second worst team in recent history just a week later

I know eh it’s like the eagles looked at our game and thought hmmmmmm maybe we won’t bomb it long to Dixon that might work !

We have the Crows and Cats in the next couple weeks. Lose this week and a streak of losses is absolutely on the cards. We won't beat Geelong in Geelong, so another poor showdown, and a poor showing against the Saints and suddenly 4-5 would be major alarm bells. Given our night game record, they're all very loseable.

If we win the next couple though, again it means zilch . The game against Geelong is the only one of significance

yep, this is definitely not a foregone conclusion. We only just pipped freo at the post at home, who i rate ahead of St Kilda but only slightly. Ross basically did the Kenny last week and conceded defeat before the bounce against the Dogs, but then declared in his post match presser that it was an aberration. They've got a point to prove.

Whereas, it is a meaningless game for us because all the attention is now finally on to us not getting it done against the good teams. So a win here won't answer any of our critics. And it would be classic Port and bottom 10 Ken if we were to break the current cycle not by winning against a top team finally but actually losing against a bottom 10 team.

It pisses me off when Ken says it’s an even competition. It’s not.

We made Alex Pearce break the world record for defensive contests won and then a week later Jake ****ing waterman looks like prime Tony Lockett against the same defence
