Membrey is definitely not playing great footy, but I think he deserves a chance with King in the side. He’s not suited to playing one out vs McKay in the square. He’s got other things to work on as well, but I think he’s earned the the right to play a game or two with King sharing the 50. I’ve come around to the idea of playing three talls. Would love to see King, Cammer and Membrey roaming.

It would be a very harsh call to drop Sharman after that game. I thought he was in our best half a dozen in the ground.

19 disposals, 9 marks, 9 contested possessions, 6 score involvements, 1 goal 2 behinds.

I think if we are playing King deep forward than Sharman is a good option as any to play higher up the ground.

I don't think Membry should be dropped on a couple of poor performances playing as the number 1 key forward.

With him in the side along with King and Hammer, they all offer something different. He won't have the no 1 key back, or arguably the no 2; key back with Hammer in. He will be an absolute headache matchup, need a 190+ back on him with his leap, however so does king and Hammer. I can easily see him popping up for 2-3 goals on a regular basis when they get the match up wrong.

I wouldn't judge him too harshly off his games back yet. Wait until he gets a bit of support up there.

and Sharman very good by foot in the field of play got some footy smarts i reckon

Yeah his field kicking was exceptional in that game. Not many seemed capable of hitting a target especially inside 50. Clark and Coops stood out with their disposal.

Most importantly he looked like he worked both ways which is what a Lyon coached side will hold against a player if they don't contribute. You can't just rely on a few disco goals and sit camped inside 50 waiting for it to come back.

I know it's Derm, but we should. We still have eight games to come against the current bottom six sides and four of those games (North, Hawthorn x 2, West Coast) you can put in the book right now; I reckon we should win 6 - 7 of that group at a minimum.

If you re-adjust the draw for 2023 form we actually have a pretty soft draw.
I feel like the ranking of draws is very limited in its data set.

I’d be curious to see where each club sat at the round they played us v a live round update of where they sit.

For example weren’t the bombers third when we beat them? They are 9th today.

The Adelaide board makes for very interesting reading. One of the first posts I saw on the game was calling for 5-6 changes and I thought they were taking the piss, but it soon became apparent that they weren’t, as there were numerous others like it to come.
I wouldn't pay much attention to that to be honest. There's a lot of people that tend to overreact to losses. Ironic since they all expect to lose to Geelong at GMHBA then get upset when we do despite putting in a pretty strong performance. There's a few usual whipping boys we have that get called to be dropped every week by people who can't acknowledge when they've even played well.

Reality is we've just lost to Collingwood & Geelong, prob 2 of the best sides in the comp & we should arguably have beaten the Pies had we been able to take chances early on.

That said I'd expect 2-3 changes. Murray (KPD) will be out and a decent loss with concussion. Fogarty maybe should be if his knee isn't right. The other change is possibly someone like Sholl who has struggled in the contest & defensive efforts in the last couple weeks.

Should be a good match between 2 sides who have improved a lot & probably played much better footy than we all expected before the season kicked off.

Wait are you talking about your board or our board - impossible to tell

Can't wait for this game, a game of so many tales.

Will Membrey keep his spot with the big dogs coming back?

Will our backline hold the enigma that are the Adelaide smalls?

Will our mids shift into gear and torch the Adelaide mids?

And most importantly...

Will the players return after the revolts of selection integrity over the dropping of King Cordy???

Words are hard for me at the moment, I had a nightmare last night that we played this years wooden spooners and they made us look like an ammo side. For some reason I had high hopes of a massive percentage booster and I don't know why, it's all very confusing..it was supposed to be a percentage booster.

Boosted our percentage by 4% which was more than 15 other clubs did this week.

Might have been only 3% if Sharman hadn’t have kicked that goal though!
