Collingwood outs help us stay a bit closer but our outs pretty much deny us any chance of winning is how I think of this week.

Also someone mentioned the guy who was killed in Mexico was a WCE fan... Will we wear black armbands?

Or is that just immediate family etc

heck me that's horrific.

The family, bringing up the boys, all that sweat and tears.

No parent should live through outliving their children.

And the last moments of the boys being murdered, what goes through the mind.

The finality of it all. Life one second and gone the next.

Sorry, depressing $hit.

So during today I've heard on different news sources that Gaff is an in, along with Harvey Johnston - mucho froth+bubble until team announcement...
Not sure if it makes much difference who we bring in at this stage, as long as we don't get spanked!

Gaff could be an in to play Chesser's role, and likewise with would we see Duggan play more inside now that Hunt is an in?

Certainly don't want Gaff+Sheed out there...won't happen?

Especially if Luke Edwards is playing as well. Should be an absolute maximum of two of that trio and arguably only one given the speed at which the game is now being played

It was TV news fluff suggesting Gaff. If it happens he might be emergency again. But hopefully it's nothing. The Pies play at a frenetic pace (probably similar or better than Bombers) so yep, we need speed. They have multiple goalscorers, don't rely on one or two forwards as such.

We held up under Bomber's pressure, but with further injuries, it will have to be a 'team machine' effort against Pies. They seem very good at that uniform team effort thing, a soldier out, a soldier in...I suspect their outs won't affect their collective performance as much as our outs will?

I'd take that to see Chesser have a go on ball.

Me too, but I don’t think we need to include Gaff in order to do that.

I’m still at the point where I’d be surprised if Gaff played on the weekend. I can’t impress upon people how far off the pace he looks at WAFL level.

Shuey did give him a shout out in his presser, but I get the impression that is more Shuey throwing Gaff a bone, and perhaps wishing it to happen.

Shuey isn’t on selection committee.

Is Hunt even a definite in? Would we bring in Gaff if Hunt isnt able to play? just because hes an experienced player

For some reason sheed always plays well against Collingwood .
The last time he played against them he got 43 touches .

Gaff + Sheed happening, boys. Pencil it in.

Too many key outs and Simmo will want experienced players to cover for the experience going out of the side.

Expect finger-pointing stats to reach all-time highs and Gaff to collect a a season-high of 8 possessions.

Much head-scratching from the coaching panel when we get rooted over a barrel to the tune of 50pts.
