What is the relationship between the blood vampires drink and the blood their bone marrow produces? Does it interact? Surely in some way it must, as our blood supply is many ways generated from our nutritional intake? But it can't transfer directly from one stream to another (afaik, maybe some smalltime exceptions). I guess blood is sometimes ingested accidentally by those not subject to a vampiristic nature so the assumption should be that this works the same way? If blood ingested is necessary for nutrition or organ maintenance, what prevents the body from attempting to access the anatomical bloodflow? Perhaps there isn't a circulatory system in vampires, or perhaps it's a system using a different product.

I have never mastered it but I tried and failed umpteen times to replicate the bean soup with/without grilled spicy sausage at the long lost Restaurant Yugoslavia in Gertrude St Fitzroy.

Fifty years on and I still cannot crack it. Mind you I do not have a portrait of Tito in my kitchen.
