Yeah I think it changes for the Semi-finals so they both get a day break before the final. Both Collins & Swiatek have to back it up again tomorrow night.

Greetings all and welcome to the S32, Broken Medal Count. The Best and Fairest for the Roys FFC - so essentially, this is the Best of the Best, in the Sweet FA….
We welcomed a few new recruits across the year, with Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever signing on, hotchilli , and Lore wandering in to the place and making themselves very much a part of the furniture here, with Chezzalenko Reborn returning after a brief hiatus.
Just a reminder to BOO Novax Dickhead at every opportunity across the course of the year, and this time I don’t actually mean NaturalDisaster !!!.
Just a reminder – this is what we are vying for tonight, the Broken Medal….
After each game, members of the Leadership vote on a 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 basis for the best on field player for the Roys – posting is not considered. These votes are tallied up and the leading 5 are revealed each round – without the actual vote tally….
Note – just because you aren’t in the leading 5 displayed each week, all votes are tallied for the final results.
We also completely fabricate a whole heap of stuff for the other awards….
I’d also like to take the opportunity to introduce our new recruits for Season 33, Sterge , zackah , MoscowHawk , tigs2010 and Elmer_Judd . Special thanks to Wosh and Dingster for some quality recruitment !!! We wouldn't have the list and squad we do without them !!

Round 1: Vs Swamprats (away): Roys Lost: 86 - 127.
2 minutes into the first game of the season, and it was ruined…
1 : 2.15 - <<< TedDougChris is coming on to replace Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever >>>
Despite this obvious handicap, the Roys took the lead briefly in the first term, following Aristotle Pickett ‘s first goal for the year. Poor goal kicking wasn’t helping any though. A second goal to Aristotle Pickett and a first to Mooch , pushed the Roys back into the lead… A quick burst from the Rats put the Roys under real pressure early in the second, despite only 8 scoring shots to 11 in the Roys favour. TedDougChris freakishly kicked straight – to narrow the margin to less than one kick, before a late goal left us 9 points down at the long break.
Mooch and TedDougChris kept the Roys close during the early stages of the third, but despite this, the Rats kept finding cheap goals quickly (perhaps at Qoals R Us ???) – the Roys trailing by 12 with a term to play.
TedDougChris bobbed up (TDCB !!!!) with the first of the final term, to push the Roys to within a goal, but sadly the Rats kicked the last 6 goals to run away with the win.
Best: hotchilli was outstanding in his debut, collecting 23 disposals to go with 6 marks, fitzroybowiedog provided stellar ruck support, with 15 hitouts and 23 disposals, Mooch started well with 5 goals, Allikat , Dingster and some other flog provided support.
First votes for the Roys for hotchilli – off to a flying start in his career.
And that’s where we end the count for this season……

Round 2: Vs Gumbies (home): Roys Won: 125 - 86
It’s always a good sign when Barrels is up and about early. He slotted our first here, before Mobbs got the ball and went for a run…. The little bugger ran and ran and refused to give the ball back and chaos ensued !!
Eventually, the ball was recovered and Mooch slotted one, before Beandip slotted another to give the Roys a slender lead. He then slotted our next, followed by Aristotle Pickett , Mooch and Beandip again – the Roys feeding off fitzroybowiedog ’s dominance in the middle of the ground.
Despite Barrybran ‘s appalling predictions, the Roys were doing well – or perhaps due to those appalling predictions. TedDougChris was in defence and the Gumbies were attacking relentlessly – this was a good combination for them, but Dingster and Barrels were up to the task. hotchilli notched a major, and a general and a corporal – well done that man !!! Freo_4eva (who shall be known as Sir Not Appearing in our Match Threads) kicked a nice goal – we all went to congratulate him and he was nowhere to be found. Dingster , Beandip, and Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever all slotted goals, then Zevon , and windyhill snuck down from defence and lobbed a bomb through from long range. Despite easing off in the last quarter, the Roys were triumphant. The 9 goal third term proving decisive.
Best: A good already team effort, with 13 players registering over 60 DT points this week. Zevon was outstanding with 18 disposals (sorry – handballs….. WTF – 18 handballs - what were you thinking man ???) and 10 marks, debutant Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever matched that mark tally and had 18 possessions, JackNah_8 had 24, _Mike_ had 18, Mooch had 24, while Beandip slotted 6 goals from 7 kicks !!!
Cats_R_Cool_4_Ever scored first votes in her Roys career !! Congratulations !!

Mooch opened our goal scoring, although it took quite a while for our second, through Aristotle Pickett . Both sides were attacking the goalface, but not scoring – perhaps they should have been attacking the actual goals instead ?? A collective 8.11 for the term…
This blew out even further with three consecutive points to start the second term, before Wosh put her foot down and demonstrated how it was done. Eventually Mooch and TedDougChris started paying attention, rather than being distracted by Tetris and the Roys had hit the lead. hotchilli, Wosh and Barrels ensured the Roys had a healthy half time lead…
Somehow even TedDougChris was playing well, (Narrator - so the Wonders must have been really shit…..), with 2 goals 1 in the third term alone, Aristotle Pickett ‘s goal taking the Roys to a 6 goal lead at ¾ time…
With Mooch , fitzroybowiedog and Wosh running riot in the last term, the Roys ran out comfortable winners.
Best: Good performers across a lot of positions in a comfortable win. Mooch , Wosh , and TedDougChris led the goal scorers – with support from fitzroybowiedog and Aristotle Pickett . If Mooch had kicked straight (4.6) we could have won by an even bigger margin, particularly as Barrels and Beandip kicked 1.6 between them. hotchilli, _Mike_ , Zevon and Allikat all had a lot of the ball and we received great drive from Bowie and Wosh from the very middle.
