This was my thoughts to, this guy has been coaching to the detriment of players for the best part of his fruitless time as coach.
It has been said many many times on this forum that this spud has coached to save his own ar#se. Imo nothing has changed and the culture of his tenor at Port reflects this.
That would contradict his comments at the presser.

King's a funny one. I used to think he was just a complete parochial, myopic Vic w@nker, but I hear his analysis a fair bit on SEN and 360, and he sometimes gives good takes. Anyone else a bit conflicted on David King?

Absolutely.
I enjoy listening to him, he’s articulate, presents his arguments well, and can be quite funny when he’s not doing his normal footy analysis. I think he’s one of the better performing football media personalities, along with Jonathan Brown & Nick Riewoldt when he was on air.
