What’s with the mob mentality wanting to hang, draw & quarter our medical team over some TV footage? The club employs our Dr for a reason. Now if it thought it could save some coin by trusting the medical opinions of random BF posters, I’m sure they would have done so.

The HIA and the SCAT5 are separate assessments. The HIA isn't the "concussion test".

Seems that AFL are over stepping the mark again
The rules are clear, they have been posted multiple times.
At the very least 11. Requires the full assessment. And that’s the minimum that would seem to apply
He certainly looked out as per 1. But for arguments sake, maybe he wasn’t. OK. He unquestionably failed to move his arms in a protective manner as he fell per 2.
But even if we set all that aside, he must be assessed per 11. There is no reason to not suspect he might have failed to make protective actions, might have, because we all saw that he did.
The rules do not provide for discretion to not screen in those circumstances
Which is what it’s all about: why didn’t it happen?
I say it’s because team doctors are put in an unfair position. In this instance it’s pretty clear the bloke has made a mistake, exacerbated by the fact that it was 2 teammates at the same time

I mean, the flipside being medical professionals are infallible was a popular view during the same time period from many now critical of one.

I mean, no it wasn't at all you absolute peanut. The point was there was a CONSENSUS and agreed position. Not that every last doctor was infallible, that was the opposite view, held by loonie anti vaxers when they found some rando doctor somewhere.
Yes, I argued against mandatory medical interventions, criticised BIg Pharma practices, Lockdowns, censorship etc. and still have no issue defending those positions today.
I never said all Drs were part of a cabal, or mentioned 5G once. Maybe you require HIA test yourself?

If the 17 other club doctors all come out with a joint statement to say they would have done the same thing in the circumstances, I'll listen. But they won't. Because they wouldn't have.
