OMFG
Pretty sure all players in history have stood by their coaches even remember Chris Newman standing by Terry Wallace right before he got dumped, and from memory they did the same at St Kilda with Grant ThomasOMFG
I just watched the replay and we didn't play that badly.
We won a huge amount of clearances, good clearances but there was no leading into space in the forward line.
Longmire would've been laughing at Dixon and Ratugolea getting the ball dropped on their heads and the Swans defenders easily killing the ball.
If we had a good, functioning forward, we could've won that game.
Only post #4349
Need more
This line is so close to an actual "I'll be here forever".
Hinkley still holds one of the most unwanted records any football coach could possibly own — the VFL/AFL record for most games coached at any club without progressing to a Grand Final.

He might need to go into witness protection. This one’s a classic - he’s still allowed to live here if he gets sacked!
Did you miss one game out there?Port Adelaide's last five finals games:
An average of 52.4 points, nearly 9 goals.
36- point loss to Sydney - 2024 preliminary final
84-point loss to Geelong - 2024 qualifying final
23-point loss to GWS - 2023 semi-final
48-point loss to Brisbane - 2023 qualifying final
71-point loss to Western Bulldogs - 2021 preliminary final
Sack Hinkley 13 - Why Not Us?"I'm sure we'll get there one day" sums up the club that's 101 loser talk.
The word losing.Did you miss one game out there?
You neglected to put the word losing in your initial post, but have obviously edited. The word losing.
I concur. As long as it happens I don’t ****ing care how it happens!I really don’t give a toss how it happens, as long as it happens soon.
The most infuriating part was watching the Swans get dominated by Aliir in the first quarter, then they immediately changed their forward entries, while Ken let our **** game plan ride the entire game without changing anything.Locking it in there and flooding your own forward line with shit entries is the gift that keeps on giving
Rozee is as soft as butter.Rozee saying that and putting the performances he does is pretty embarassing.
At least when Gray, Boak or even Dixon say that you know that they put everything into Ken's shit house game plan.
Connor is a very conditional footballer who rarely gives 100%
Is Butters as soft as Rozee?Rozee is as soft as butter.
Was Grant Thomas the last coach sacked after making a finals series?
He lost 2 x Prelims in 2004/05 then and 2006 EF.
Rod Butters, like Kochie backed him in for so long but after 6 years Rod seen enough.
Thomas knew no Club would hire him again. He went to a career in the media and got sacked multiple times.
Ken will probably go down the same path.
Dealing with the issue we have right now and another year to go on his contract.
Maybe the Club could slip him into Corporate with his car sales expertise.
It’s refreshing to hear his biggest backers like Whateley now conceding that his time is up.
The Club needs to be swift and get on the front foot as each day the train wreck will become greater.
