After the end credits roll on the granny broadcast, Kenny will wed Gerard in an outdoor ceremony at GMHBMDMA stadium and the rings will be borne by greyhounds, who will be ceremonially executed at consummation of their marriage

"When the time comes that Ken wants to give the game away, then I think we've got some very good candidates internally to take over that position, " Davies said.

Yes whenever Kenny boy feels he's ready, as it's all about him remember.

This whole admin has to part too, its all ludicrous

She has definitely attended at least one B&F because I remember seeing a photo of her and Ken on the night.

Can anyone actually produce a picture of her ? I’m beginning to think he’s a lonely fat bald gay guy.

Caro on Davies "Chris is invested in Ken Hinkley".
Excuse Me Wow GIF by Mashable

Why did Chris cross the road ? Cause he was stuck to Ken.

The way Chris Davies answered Rowe/Ginever’s question whether Ken Hinkley will be here next year suggests that something’s afoot.

Such questions in the past were not only answered affirmatively but were accompanied by glowing praise and excessive adulation of what a great job Hinkley has been doing.

This time however he neutrally tackled the question by saying that it is his (i.e. CD’s) job to put a successful football programme together.

It was several years ago, you could troll through all the club's facebook history of B&F posts if you’re keen. I certainly can’t be bothered 😂

Broncos have dropped a post-season bombshell with club legend Kevin Walters sacked with two years left on his deal.

What the **** is Port Adelaide. I try giving up on the club to release some sort of curse and alleviate the mental strain and punish the club for its absurd allegiance to Ken Hinkley and what do I get. The worst straight sets finals losses in VFL history.

Im cooked if Ken isn’t sacked. Literally have nowhere to turn and nothing to give. Sack the campaigner you pack of gutless arseholes.

Broncos coach sacked wowee, after losing the 23' GF by 2 points.

Yep I definitely wouldn't have had Kevvie getting sacked before Ken on my bingo card even a month ago let alone 12 months ago when they made the bloody grand final.

This is how a real club operates. External review following a year of complete underwhelm, and then acting on said review swiftly and decisively.

tribey this is a very good post of yours. I actually sent it to a couple of neutrals who didn’t understand why I am so anti-Hinkley, and both of them admitted that they didn’t realise he was this unsuccessful.

Now you can add 2024 to this list of failures.

While I know its a yearly summary, and outside of the diabolical finals campaigns and non-accountability, the 2022 Russell Ebert Tribute game v Hawthorn stands out in my memory as well as that was an absolute slap to the face.
An epitome of us failing under Hinkley when any sort of pressure or expectation to perform is put on them (even against a cellar dweller opponent).

If I were Carr, I'd be conflicted about whether to wait another year before stepping into the role. Delaying would give him the chance to select his assistant coaches when he takes over and allow JHF, Rozee, and Butters more time to develop.

Given that the position appears to be promised to him, as reports suggest, there's no immediate urgency.

On the other hand, if I were Hinkley, I'd recognize the signs and step away now while my reputation is still strong with the broader football community. Taking a year off to recalibrate and then returning elsewhere would be a smart move. Say what you will about Hinkley, but his emotional intelligence and ability to finesse situations is extremely good.

You're become a real Debbie Downer Us against the rest
Are you ok ❤️
Unfortunately positive or negative we tend to feed off each other here on BF and hearing Davies today imo is business as usual.

Like I have posted previously, common sense would tell you that Ken staying on another year would be silly, for him in particular. I have no faith in this club to make the call, Ken is already contracted, it's not like he's uncontracted waiting for a decision on an extension, he has the upper hand, the club is going to have to tell him he is not required for next season.

History suggests the club will take the easy way out, like the promotions from within, right down to our CEO.

Make no mistake I will will be very happy to be wrong on this one.

I am just sick of the roller coaster ride we have endured since at least 2017, so if I have low expectations of the club just like they do with winning, I won't be as devastated when he's here next year.

Thanks for caring.
