Yep I definitely wouldn't have had Kevvie getting sacked before Ken on my bingo card even a month ago let alone 12 months ago when they made the bloody grand final.

This is how a real club operates. External review following a year of complete underwhelm, and then acting on said review swiftly and decisively.
His son Billy being given a gold pass after barely getting a game with the wooden sooner West Tigers didn't go down well. Wonder what happens there now.

Meanwhile the Hinkleys feature prominently on the staff index role.

The old saying "ya can't bullshit a bullshitter"

But Koch seems to fall for the bull shit all the time... 😐
Koch’s the bullshitter. Referencing anything other than things that matter when handing out undeserved contracts.

Caro on Davies "Chris is invested in Ken Hinkley".
Excuse Me Wow GIF by Mashable
Chris is taking Ken with him to Collingwood.

Unfortunately Us against the rest is correct... Don't want him to be...

Chewy gives me hope ...

But I think the old saying goes fool me once fool on U.. fool me 🤔 7 times fool on me.

Haven't gotten an update since last night so can only presume nothing has changed.

The moment I find out anything, I will post it here unless.othereise directed not to.

Imagine Perryman meeting with McRae and comparing it to a hillbilly interaction with scrotum head.

Perryman was incredibly impressed with Ken. Even Ken's detractors around the league acknowledge he's an excellent salesman.

I don't think there was so much a problem with Billy until his form dropped off this year. He was really good last year imo. Mozer will be the long term 9 anyway.

Chewy316 does still give me some hope, he has tried his best to give us as much info as he is allowed to, it's up to the people that want Ken out, can they get the majority vote, if that's how it works.

What I am saying as much as I enjoy and was enjoying thinking Ken is going I just don't want to get my hopes up, this club has stabbed us in the heart too many times now, or is that in the back?

We are just their cash cows, do they defend us when the media call us ungrateful, fickle, disrespectful, lowlife white noise keyboard warriors.
Does Ken or Richardson ever talk about what's good for the fans and the club, they don't give a shit about what we think or want as long as membership looks good and the happy clappers fill the stands.

Patience... I'm trying I really am... Lol

But it is in the back of mind.. is this like the last time... Or the time before... Where they just wait for the "anger" to disappear and Hinkley rocks up again after 6 months with his best list ever before someone comes along and then says we have a shit list... And so on.

The way they talk, it's like they view each season in isolation. You could half understand the 'we achieved something this year' line if we'd come from finishing say 9th-13th the last couple of years and ended up bowing out in a prelim this year. You might say that about our 2020 season for instance. But when you've gone 1st, 2nd, 11th and 3rd in the minor round with multiple home prelim defeats and a straight sets exit to your name, progression to a grand final and preferably a premiership would be 'achieving something'.

You have to view the results in the context of whether the team is improving, whether they're breaking new ground and progressing towards a premiership or whether they're just treading water. We already knew we could finish above the also rans. Prove you can do better than that.

Ladder
Season: MR - Finals

2013: 7th - 5th (+2)
2014: 5th - 3rd (+2)
2015: 9th
2016: 10th
2017: 5th - 7th (-2)
2018: 10th
2019: 10th
2020: 1st - 3rd (-2)
2021: 2nd - 3rd (-1)
2022: 11th
2023: 3rd - 5th (-2)
2024: 2nd - 4th (-2)

Hinkley’s gotten a Gold Pass for Life because of two good seasons. It’s unbelievable!

Four times, he has put himself in a position to fight for the flag. He failed to reach the GF in all of them.

Broncos have generally always acted swiftly when they don’t achieve success within a certain period of time. Port could learn a thing or two.
