It’s funny how in love the Vic media is with Kenny to blatantly keep our club down.

Now that they know he’s gone soon, they’re all turning their head on him.

They probably always hated him and his antics but looked after him knowing it makes Port worse.

Getting lectured to about showing humility towards opposition players by a man who simulated injecting performance enhancing drugs in his veins to sledge an opponent about an (at that stage) unproven doping allegation and another man who once approached an opposition player on the field and labelled him a quote "rapist".

... you're kidding?

What do you want from us? To defend and/or admonish Ken Hinkley? To sympathise with the Hawthorn players? Nobody cares. It's a bit of banter. It doesn't make the top 100 list of things Ken Hinkley has done that are a bad look.

Don’t get me wrong I’m loving the tears from the excrement stained arrogant sooks but this is just another one of Hinkley’s job done, it’s all about me antics, and will just be a distraction when the focus needs to be how they bring that intensity from last night into next game.

Now if in a couple of weeks time he was to airplane his way off the dais with the premiership cup and a 4 year deal to coach the Eagles; that I would be happy with!

Josh Carr received a couple of pats on the back from our coaching group (not the figurehead) as they walked through the middle of the ground post match. I dunno. It just caught my eye.

The sook fest from Lewis and Hodge was the best. These are guys that have continually backed in Ken and now have a reason to go after him. The more that pile on in the media the better.

Kenny may just have bitten the hand that has protected him for all these years…

Yeah that’s a huge takeaway here. A few guys who have backed him unconditionally will now be off him. He also got humbled for a solid 5 minutes in the press conference. Pair this with the tears early in the year and it wouldn’t be surprising to see a few (more) pundits pick up on the overly reactive/emotional yoyo that we see

Gerard would be in absolute shambles about he justifies this on Monday’s 360

If that’s their plan, it’s going exceedingly well this season, managed to keep Port to checks notes second after the home and away season, and a prelim final!

Must have the underpants gnomes planning the conspiracy.

Ginnivan was laughing, so he could take it.

And Sicily, rightfully, stood up for his teammate.
Actually Sicily embarrassed himself by focusing on bickering with an old man when he was supposed to be chairing a club legend off the ground. The flog was so focused on bickering with Ken that he nearly dropped Breust on his head.

I actually like Ginni. Nothing wrong with dishing it out if you can take it, and as you said, he took it on the chin just fine. Sicily on the other hand embarrassed himself and disrespected a champion of his club.

What a sad little bully boy Sicily is. Deflecting from costing his team a Semi Final win with his poster is more like it.

Putting him up on a pedestal because he gave some half arsed lip to an old man instead of focusing on chairing off a champion of his club is just about what I'd expect from Hawthorn.

"Unsociable football!" > Sookball.

Loved it.

Ginnivan looked like a twat, talked the talk but didn’t back it up, and Kenny let him know. Now he gets to wallow in it all preseason.

Love he got under Sicily’s skin too, and Sniper Sam Mitchell’s. Both grade A twats.

I wish Kenny had of got his phone out and invited the Hawks boys in for a selfie!

Also cracking game, good luck next week against the AFLs favourite child.

It's nice to spot some character in the sea of dull "personalities" that the AFL has, given that everyone rocks the same old boring act. “Credit to the boys”…

I don’t think he’d have posted what he did if they were playing Carlton, Collingwood or Richmond.

That doesn’t necessarily mean he had a direct lack of respect for Port per se (as Hinkley seems to have taken it), just a passive-aggressive symptom of the wider heartland vibe that ‘ThE iNtErStAtE cLuBs’ don’t really matter so I can post this.
Loved what Hinkley did & there is a total lack of respect for Port across the border. Take em on & crush them. Hinkley finally stopped playing the nice guy & stuck up for his club. That's his job & he did it last night. At last.

Yeah lol, it's pretty funny hearing the 3 major culprits in Mitchell, Lewis and Hodge of the "unsociable hawks" sook about some comments after a game. How rich indeed.

Yeah, commentators saying that Lloyd Meek should run through Butters after the hail of abuse Houston got for doing the same to Rankine shows the duplicity of the Vic Media who just commentate for the benefit of Vic teams and their own fiefdom.

This Hawthorn team have a couple first class flogs who show the opposition no respect and it was great for them to have to STFU.

That's triggering.
