I would suggest avoiding this thread maybe.Jonas, cassisi and current afl assistant coach Schofield touted as CD’s replacement? wtf.
This thread has seriously jumped the shark.
Maybe just wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks with Hinkley, CD and co. I feel like it is strange this thread never sleeps even in prelim week, when there are clearly more important issues to discuss.
All I care about is winning the flag right now. All this other stuff will be a talking point after the season is over.

The West Coast coaching search has been narrowed to four candidates.Andrew McQualter, Steven King, Brett Montgomery and Hayden Skipworth are the quartet of contenders left in the race for the Eagles’ top job. King and McQualter seen as the frontrunners of that four.
It’s understood Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley was never approached and regardless, has never had any desire to move to Perth.
Just give up, our club is run by a load of selfish egotistical arse wipes.

THis is not the time to go with this narrative. Hinkley is here to stay for now, like it or loathe it. There is a prelim to win, and supporters supporting would be awesome right now. Leave your gripes for after the next loss.
I say go as hard on Hinkley as possible he needs to be pissed off to have a pulse.Whatever is said in this thread will. i'm pretty sure, have zero impact on Friday's result.
This is a "Sack Hinkley" thread. It is what people will talk about here.
I'm getting to the stage where I wouldn't be surprised if they give him another 1 year extension because he couldn't possibly coach out the final year of his contract, the pressure wouldn't be fair.

Depends on where club management has set the bar. I feel like their marker of success is making finals. We want to win as a club, however….
If we lose another PF, how much longer…….?
Yeah someone took my post FAR too seriously lol..Touted by whom?
Fiction writers? Bullshit artists?
Since when has giving Ken everyone's full support helped?THis is not the time to go with this narrative. Hinkley is here to stay for now, like it or loathe it. There is a prelim to win, and supporters supporting would be awesome right now. Leave your gripes for after the next loss.
At this stage it is just pure unadulterated pessimism mixed with a splash of hyperbole. How have you possibly reached such a crazy conclusion?
If they keep him for 2025, he will coach in his final contract year just as he did in 2020 and 2023. There is literally nothing other than pure conjecture on anyone's behalf to suggest otherwise.
I actually think the most likely option if they keep him for 2025 is to announce a succession plan this off-season to have Ken coach 2025 with Carr set for 2026. But again, that's just conjecture on my behalf at this point.
Nearly impossible to predict how things are going to move forward from here until we have the data point that is Friday night locked in to the equation.
Doesn't have to be a crowie...Since when has giving Ken everyone's full support helped?
And since when has putting the heat on him hindered?
All evidence would suggest that the exact opposite is true.
Hoping some smart arse Crowie puts up a sack Hinkley sticker on Port Rd this week.

Do you think the recruiters only start looking at kids after Round 23 or Finals campaign?
What else is there to talk about, we only have 4 blokes left fit to come in for selection.
...90% are trolls, 5% are deluded.95% of neutral supporters think Ken is a "top bloke" who has done a great job with basket case Port Power. Not a great resource to point to there.
the lion is jaggin' itLet him keep coaching, we are so well respected…..
Is it just coincidental that they are all foundation VFL clubs?Let him keep coaching, we are so well respected…..
Yes, we were told several times at this year's AGM that it was HIS board (to be fair though he was also implying that it wasn't the Afls).Anyone talking about the board sacking Koch has to remember that he picked the overwhelming majority of them.
