After Arnold was sacked I thought it was curious that one of the first thing that Craig Goodwin said about Tony Popovic is that he's a winner. Assumingly that is in comparison with Arnold who I have continually compared to Hinkley. (both are losers).
Arnold had the worst socceroos squad I've ever seen in my life, and guided them to their best world cup campaign ever.

Not saying he didn't get a result and aren't we sitting here complaining about a coach that took us second at the end of the minor round.

His tactics were pretty much trying to stay in the game and get a lucky goal.

Good evening trendsetters, interested readers and fellow kampaigners

Indeed you lot have been busy, I can't keep up with the pace as the train of mediocrity and shame hurtles down the tracks, woefully steered by the group of pitiful miscreants who have infected our once great club

Sort of glad I have been busy on a project and not been able to keep up here. As I often become enraged at the shape of clouds, this dire situation, which has been inflicted upon us like some sort of universal joke, has made me numb where I used to get mad. And that in itself is a worry.

Keep up the good fight

SACK HINKLEY
SACK KOCH
SACK RICHO
SACK DAVIES
SACK CARDONE

He was also in charge of one of the most talented Socceroos squads ever and couldn’t manage a wet fart on leftover curry night.

Also plays favorites like Hinkley, wouldn't play a guy who was good enough to be signed by a Serie A team. Plays Bos over Goodwin who comes on and is Man of the Match in about 15 minutes playing time v Uzbekistan. Also patted himself on the back every time we won for his tactical moves giving no credit to the players but when they lose throws them under the bus. This sounding familiar yet?

He's pathetic. "I'm energised. I'll do the best I possibly can." Who cares? Not good enough now * off.
It's like all those Hinkley apologists claiming "he's doing his best". He's getting paid a ship load so he damn well should be doing his best but it is abundantly clear that his best just isn't good enough.

We've seen his best and it absolutely sucks.

And if we haven't seen his best? After giving him close to $10mil over 12 years? He's simply been stealing from the club.

Just a regular reminder for everyone in this thread:

Unfollow Kane Cornes on every social media platform. Block Kane Cornes on ever social media platform. If you're a twitter user, mute the phrase "Kane Cornes".

I've posted this before but I don't think most AFL players these days actually care about winning the premiership. They might think they care but they don't really care. The actual lifestyle of being a footballer with all of the social and financial perks that come with it far outweigh any on field success these days. Most of them are happy just being there and doing enough to justify whatever pay packet their natural talent will draw. You get the odd self starter like JHF who wants to be the best but it's a minority.

It's only later in life when their youth has faded, life has become more ho hum, whatever financial success they have gained from playing AFL has become taken for granted, etc, that they will look back on their careers and think 'you know what, it would've been nice to play in a grand final, I feel like a bit of a failure ...'.

All of this by the way is even more the reason why you need a coach who knows how to convince a group of young men that winning a premiership is worth fighting for and knows how to keep them believing in and aligned to that task. Hinkley has proven he can't do that.
Eh, give him another crack.

I think Hinkley has changed the narrative in his own mind. He’s seen Fagan as a 63 year old winning a premiership and he’s probably been inspired to keep going.
He went from someone saying he needs some time away to being energised after 4 days.
The only way he’s leaving is if there’s no contract renewal. I don’t see a succession plan.

He'll employ every dirty trick in the book to keep his grubby mitts on the job. He almost certainly internally talks about a succession plan as "something we could look at in the future, I think Josh would make a great Port Adelaide coach" but when it comes down to it, he never agrees.

As sure as the sun rises, if we're sitting in the top 4-6 come the bye, the likes of Caro, Kornes and Whately will be laying it on thick about how unreasonable it is that we haven't extended him yet.

It's an absolute protection racket from media grubs whose sole intent is to make sure we DON'T fulfil our potential.. They know he's crap - they know no other club would touch him.. they're happy to see him make us weaker.

The real issue is the AFL puppet who keeps Hinkley going in David Koch.

If you go through his tenure, it is very hard to find anything Port Adelaide like or even basically intelligent in terms of leadership or football.
