There's been that many "sack worthy games and seasons", it's clear to me his tenure is not based on performance. I would assume it's Koch but ultimately Davies who reports to Koch as the Head of Football is responsible. Get rid of Davies, you get rid of Hinkley. He's poison.

Yes. There have plenty of sackable offences by Hinkley but the boys club refuses to ditch one of their own.

It will probably be a year of banality of playing well enough and capitulating in finals.

The hope is gone in most and only a bloke like Chewy can help foster some false hope for the fan on this forum.

It’s led to a culture of being deathly afraid of losing the logical gains made since the nadir of the Football Park era, rather than properly capitalising upon them with the onfield success that should’ve followed.

It's not that difficult to lead our team financially when we got a good deal at Adelaide Oval and a huge amount of money pouring into the game, the AFL and the club.

But to actually Chair a great football program is quite difficult.

To chair the mediocrity of Glenelg or St Kilda is not difficult at all and in the times of a boom, they have failed again and again, pretty much allowed because the members don't have a say in the matter.

This just reminded me about how Cornes tried to say that it might have been mistaken identity and that it was actually Paul Rizonico who did the taunting. Someone who the club doesn’t publicly list as a staff member and who I’ve never heard of (yes I know he played for Port but well before my time and I didn’t know he even worked for the club).

There’s footage, literally ****ing 4K footage, of Ken Hinkley doing the aeroplane gesture and mouthing off to someone who would’ve been devastated in that moment, and who is likely the reason Ken hasn’t lost his job. But nah, chief mouthpiece of the protection racket has to pull out an utter crackpot theory for literally no reason at all.

I watched an interview today of a guy that has won gold medals in rowing at three consecutive Olympic Games and is currently competing at the pinnacle of an unrelated sport. He was headhuntered for that sport because he is a winner. He made the comment that success isn't a surprise and went on to explain that each of his gold medals was the culmination of four years of planning, execution and hard work.

Meanwhile Daddy Donuts says we just need a bit of luck and would be totally surprised by any success.
