That is a quote of an idiot. He's been talking dribble for years. The amazing thing is many people including the media couldn't/wouldn't see it until recently. Some still don't. However, its not in the SA media and to a large extent the VIC medias interests to point out his shortcomings. Our club is fairly irrelevant Nationally, I get reminded of this every year I go to the MCG for GF lunch on the Friday and talk to my Vic mates. They are very Vfl centric.

Lets not forget his pre-season work and being liberated from the captaincy which is a poisoned chalice at the Power. He was struggling in the midfield to get any separation from opponents who just kept tackling him. At the time he needed to be moved out imo. In 2019 he was moving far better and hence he was far more effective in the midfield.

Legit every AFL club would have had Rozee and Duursma in their 22 most games, but it's Port Adelaide that acts as if this is a revolutionary rebuild.

Credit is given to Parker who scouted and drafted them, but **** off in trying to get points for playing them when they were clearly top 18 players for us.

The playing youth claim is one of the more insulting frauds that members and supporters have had to endure. There is no accountability at this club anymore. Hinkley isn't accountable, neither are Koch, Keith and the entire board. Instead we have an absolute clown show of co-captains, water skiing, loser comments and gold passes.

There has been no recognition that this club has woefully under-performed in the past 5 years. Better senior coaches have been sacked this year.

Yep the only one you would have to give Ken credit for is backing in Butters, but then the constant dropping of Garner and Marshall along with others kind of negates that.

Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has asked for a release to join Gold Coast on a long-term deal, reports the Australian.

Port Adelaide Haven't finished a H&A season in the top 4 in 12 years. 12 YEARS! With the list we have we should be top 6 at worst. People pay hundreds of dollars every year and we get dished up average performances.

Do you know if the Club pays Curtin as I note he's mentioned as a Consultant (at what?)

The several times I've seen him is when he emerges from a hole in the wall near the kitchen, pours himself a coke at the bar and goes back into the hole.

I know he does some lightweight giggle interviews with players on occasions but that's not worth a paycheque - surely.

Doesn’t even play youth in a dead rubber. Even Chocolate would put senior players under the knife and play youth when finals was out of the equation. What benefit was there in playing a mature team? None for the team but maybe something for Ken’s KPIs.

That lineup doesn’t include Ebert, Motlop and Watts either, who you’d assume are still well and truly in the first team mix — at least in terms of contract hit, anyway.

It’s truly bizarre.
