Ive been on the sack ken train since 2018.
So serious question. What would it take to change your mind on Ken?
What scenario would be needed for you to be happy for him to stay on in 2021?
Finals?
Finals win?
top 4?
prelim?
the big GF?
Even if we got in a better coaching group for 2020, I cant see us achieving anything more than a finals appearance.
This and skills has always been the problem.I love our new crop of young players but it should concern everyone that we had to trade out guys like Impey and Wingard in the first place. Now there's talk about Wines and SPP. Rather than throwing more young talent on the fire, should the very serious question be asked of why our young players are stagnating and not reaching their potential? If it was one, maybe two players you could rightly place 100% of the blame on the individual, but we seem to struggle with our young guys hitting a "stall". To me, this is one of the more concerning issues we've had under Hinkley. We've been able to attract and draft players but they've not reached anywhere near their potential.

All clubs trade out good and sometimes gun players.
That is the footy environment now.
The current list profile is diabolical.
Bring in three pricey veterans one year, hit the skids from 11-4, scapegoat your monotonous failings by trading out your two best 25yo’s and HiT tHe DrAft as if the previous 6 years didn’t happen and you’re not carrying a dozen guys who are about to get a telegram from the Brian May Band.
Port Adelaide everyone.
Port Adelaide.
Remember when we beat Collingwood in EF in 2013? We're we now??
That’s right our trajectory is good KT stated

Rucci banging on about Hinkley inheriting a basket case at the end of 2012:
14. Port Adelaide, 5-1-16
15. Western Bulldogs, 5-0-17

That is rubbish. The players even did a fundraiser for him.I heard Impey was disappointed with the lack of support he received from the club after his father passed
Edit: obviously don’t take this as gospel, but it would make sense why he was keen to leave with Trengrove who did provide the support

In our pre-AFL days, John Cahill coached on one year contracts. You mean like winning?

Yeah but GC weren't coming for Jack like they were for Ken. We needed to lock that sucker down.In our pre-AFL days, John Cahill coached on one year contracts.
Do they get a medal for this or something? Does it mean that they will be dominant for an extended period of time? I'm sure we were thinking the same thing back in 2013.
When players are ready to step up, they will replace the incumbents. I don't care about age. I care about whether a player can do their job.
Everyone in a senior leadership role at Alberton: "Finals is the minimum pass mark."Are we sacking anybody? The club seems very comfortable with the way the year went. I'd really like to sack chad corner. I don't know if he is a decent assistant coach, but the culture of the club won't improve whilst Chad is there to leak stories for the benefit of his family rather than the club. Besides Henschell was a forward so why isn't he a forward assistant? Surely we can afford to sack Chad? Runners aren't even allowed to run anymore.

Post-season wash up: "Let's trade SPP and commission new scarves."

No, it means we’ve missed our window, and for that the coach must be sacked. Pretty simple, really.
