I actually don't feel too bad right now and I was at a loss to explain why. I realised my natural optimism is telling me perhaps we will sack Hinkley after all, after that.

I'm sure I'll be less sanguine and more depressed in the morning.

Probably because we were never in the game so we could never actually get emotinally invested, it's weird but I'm going to sleep like a baby - very pissed off but already digested the result.

He won’t win the flags bit… meat raffle maybe….
Of course he won't. But nothing he can do now will ever be enough to forgiven for these past sins.
He is a leech sucking the life out this club. Earning his fat paycheck for being possibly the dumbest coach in the AFL.

Every loss (and a couple of our wins) this year was exactly the same story. Our first quarters sucking so much is down to the coach. After getting things that wrong form the start, you can expect the pressure to build on the players and fu** ups to occur. But old mate sits in his bubble, socially distanced from everyone and reality and nothing gets done.

If he had a tiny bit of self-awareness he would have been gone years ago. But he hasn’t and our dicks are in a vice controlled by that ******* breakfast TV, small business consultant twat and the AFL. fu** it. fu** it all.

I think this is my favourite post of yours ever.

He has to go now. That's two years of home prelims, while the opponent's travel here, there and everywhere in quarantine and whatever else and we lay a bigger egg then the 2007 GF.

I can live with last year against Richmond and probably the best big game player I've seen in Dusty, but not tonight.

We had a week off, at home, against a depleted and tired opponent and 20 minutes in the game is over. With Drew who can shut Liberatore down on the bench watching it happen in the first 6/7 minutes. That's a mark on Ken, Bassett, Voss, Schofield & Montgomery and the senior players.

The club needs to make a call on our legends do we take the short term pain of moving them, to actually win flags in 4 years time for arguments sake, or try again with the same senior players who cannot handle elite, finals pressure.

I am reminded of a conversation a few years ago when I was an Uber driver, with an ex assistant coach from Gold Coast, who used to coach with Hinkley.

I told him I'm not sure if Hinkley is smart enough to be an AFL coach. He said "He is, but I don't know if he can handle the pressure."

Three failed preliminary finals later, I guess we know the answer to that.

conor rozee can get f’ed after the pissweak performance he put up tonight.

Connor Rozee is still a kid in football terms. When he looks around the room and sees the pathetic efforts of his senior teammates he can't really be blamed for what happened tonight. He was a symptom, not a cause. Motlop on the other hand...

It wasn’t Ken’s fault the players didn’t work hard enough
I hate when people say this sort of shit there's a fundamental breakdown in preparation if you are not switched on, the coach is heckin'g responsible for mentally conditioning his players this isn't a one-off it's heckin'g terminal under this clown.
