I am glad we didn't get blown away and made a tremendous come back. It gives the players belief and under a new coach they'll be flying.

OK, sack him now please.
The way Butters and Rozee in particular took it upon themselves to lift the club out of the doldrums is a huge positive. I absolutely love what Connor Rozee could be, and today we saw him raise his game to that level. He is the most mouth watering prospect when the new coach comes in.

Ken on 9 sport yesterday - We can still play finals if we are 0-5.
Oh please, just have some self respect for yourself and do the right thing by all concerned and walk away Ken.

There is a place for you at an Afl club but not at Port.
PS. Your president should follow suit.

The fact, as the coach, he even contemplated being 0-5 says everything about him.

Players to were playing with their own intent in getting this come back many are playing for their footy future. Because a new coach from outside would spell doom for a few
Structurally nothing really changed in the second half. The players, as proud competitive footballers, took it upon themselves to do something about what was being served up. At best, Hinkley might have said "Youse blokes need to get out there and take the bloody game on..".

Blind Freddy can see that's where it's headed, so just stop wasting time.
That's the crux of it really. We've just been delaying the inevitable since the Hawthorn game, to the benefit of nobody except Hinkley's accountant.

Its not going to save him. In a months time when we are 1-9 or something like that, noones going to care that we kicked a few goals in a row in the second half against Carlton

Thoughts on Aliir's role, putting aside he was clearly under done today and shouldn't have played.

His role as a floating intercept backman appears to have run its course as coaches have clearly worked out how to negate him and he almost becomes a liability, not quite but almost.

Thoughts on playing him as a full forward. Can be a great mark and his kicks are usually reliable.

Otherwise, what should/can his role be??
