So basically our coach is pulling out the 'does it matter when you lose your 5 in a row' rhetoric.

Never mind being 1-5 is already a terrible position to be in. 2013 was totally different, after sitting 5-5 we had 12 games left, so going 7-5 and making finals is still very doable. This time we have to go 12-4 just to scrape in on the back of a big PF loss.

Yup - in 2013 we were also a young team coming off our worst season ever, a “basket case” and so just making finals was an achievement

In 2022 we are coming off consecutive prelim finals, with a list built over 9 years under a single coach, the club on all fronts saying we are challenging for the premiership and in fact 3 by 2025

It is not the same. But the propaganda machine will make it appear so

But Koch and the board thought that Hinkley was a superhero at 11-4 in 2018 so he just needs to pull the old cape out of the closet and 12-4 is a cinch.

lol, history repeats "... Port's supporter base is increasingly restless amid a dramatic slide from finals contention."

I agree, we need other results to go our way but, 4 games is all we can afford to lose.

He ain't goin' nowhere.

Injuries. That's all it is. Injuries will be the official excuse of the 2022 ex-Ken-tion. Doesn't explain the pre-lim, but hey, quit livin' in the past! THE FUTURE IS OURS!

Sign Ken for the term of his natural life. Put in a clause that he can only be succeeded by his Football Analysist, Dr. Jordan Hinkley F.A. to ensure decades of Hinkleyball, and before you mock this idea, remember that Jordan's been around footy his whole life!

2023s slogan will be BACK US IN!

EXTEND KEN.

I want the above for the apologists. They want Ken, give 'em all the Ken they can handle! If you can comprehend a decade of this, have a few more.

Hinkley says he doesn't care about what happened in the past or what may happen in the future. He just lives in today.

So sack him today!
So don't judge me on what I've done, or what I'm going to do.

Wish I could have had that written into my employment contracts (oh, and along with $800k pa thanks...)

I am legitimately hoping we get whacked tomorrow night. I cant watch the game, but the ideal scenario would be a 10 goal loss with a standard pathetic first qtr and throw in a scoreless quarter too. A 95-37 type score line will be grand. Jonas scratching his head post game telling us "the players are behind Kenny...."

If I'm a new coach, Jonas is back in the SANFL. O. Wines Captain.

It makes me sad that Hinkley has driven long term supporters to this. :(
My uncle who has been a supporter since the clubs inception into the AFL has not gone to a game this season.

Been a member every year but Hinkleys way and the fact that he hasn't been sacked yet has literally drained him in watching this team and has quite simply had enough.

GTFO Hinkley

A good belting leading into a Friday night game would definitely be ideal in the sack Hinkley stakes, sadly I can almost see a close loss and meanwhile, a Bulldogs loss to Essendon instead putting all the talk on the Bulldogs next week instead.

Feels like Port can't even lose right these days

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but I smiled at a fake tweet from Elon Musk this morning, which read:

NOW I'VE BOUGHT TWITTER, NEXT MOVE IS TO BUY PAFC AND SACK HINKLEY.

I also find it bizarre how Ken behaves and talks so bullishly as if we are 5-1....

It’s infuriating. The ‘unbothered’ smirking/laughing demeanour, and the general air of smugness.

What the af has he actually done to justify this?

I think we vastly underestimate how much smoke has been blown up this guy’s arse in-house, in the media, within the industry and by our arselicking happyclapping set.

Swans around like he owns the joint.

Plenty of us in the same boat :(

I wish the club would just come out and declare that Ken won't be part of the future next year! We all know that if Port gets a few wins before the bye that Ken will be with us for the remainder of the season and then possibly into next year. That's exactly why people like me and your uncle are despondent with this groundhog day shitshow.
