Of course he wouldn't, Jack wouldn't associate himself with losers, Hinkley could only dream of a job there ...

Even Jack had trouble selling his cars, ’cause the vast majority were pieces of junk.

It looks grim. If you were going to take an educated guess, Ken will be officially sacked on Monday morning following a loss at home to the Swans. Monty to be announced as caretaker to see out the season.

Middle aged man loses some weight and spends less time in the sun. The only possible conclusion is that he is dying.

Don't be disingenuous. No one has suggested he's dying.

If the saints are given the chance they'll probably kick 3.18 against us and lose.

Best Case 4 and 9? You really think that's our best case scenario? I'd probably like to see a sample size of more than two games before making predictions like this.

We'll be better with Dixon back, simply because our entire forward game plan, if you can call it that, is built around him being there. Aliir back will also help.

Crows will be an under 10 point 'thrilla' (loss)
Melbourne will Dee-stroy us (sorry)
Carlton loss will be the proper final straw
Sacked after WCE loss
Monty coaches and we beat the Saints

I’m hoping after a thrashing in Cairns by St Kilda, we call a press conference Monday morning to say that Hinkley is finishing up the following Friday against the Dogs.

That way, he avoids equaling or beating the record for the longest serving coach in VFL/AFL history without a Grand Final appearance.

At this point if he lasts until the Saints game I'd almost rather he lasts the 3(?) more games to break the record, just so the stink and ignominy is forever attached to him. He goes into the record books as an inarguable loser for all to see. The disappointing part is that he's been able to use our club as a vessel for this historic level of ineptitude.

But also, if he were sacked tonight I'd support that.

He deserves to have that record tied to his name forever, I agree.

I’m just looking for a scenario where he gets sacked ASAP. I too would support him being sacked tonight.

In the prelim Hinkley had at his disposal:

-current Brownlow medallist
-last year's Brownlow runner up
-an AFL MVP
-last year's all Australian CHF
-all Australian intercept defender
-Butters, Rozee and Duursma
-a premiership ruckman

And he delivered a 71 point loss.

The narrative of putting the blame on players is over this is all on ken
