in previous years i would have screamed and yelled at the TV if Port lost to the crows after the siren. In fact i remember losing my shit in that game when Jenkins kicked that goal which was a point and we lost

Friday night i actually smiled when Dawson kicked the goal and felt no emotion at all. I saw it as another nail in Hinkleys coffin

Tomorrow night i will be going but i am so emotionally detached at the moment i dont actually care if we win but wont be at all upset if we lose

Im taking the long term view here... losing more games now will speed up the changes we need in the coaches box

So, in the space of four matchdays we’ve gone from red hot favourites to qualify for a Grand Final, to attempting to “ease the frustration” of starting 0-3, including blowing a 4-goal lead to the worst Crows outfit of all-time.

And the footy world seems perplexed we’re absolutely sick of this bloke.
Two references to working harder in two sentences. None to working smarter, adjusting the game plan to suit the players we have in or the opposition, making tactical changes to address in-game issues or ensuring we are fit enough.

So why do we even need a coach then? We know from the stats our issue isn't work rate, but that's all that ever gets trotted out.

The players must be completely over being told to constantly WORK HARDER!

When Hinkley first came to the club he told all the players at the time that they were responsible for getting their previous two coaches sacked. The only remaining players from that team are Boak and Gray (Clurey and Wines were drafted in 2012 but never played under Primus). When Hinkley gets sacked he's only got himself to blame!

It infuriates me when Ken says he shares the supporters' frustration.

So all those times Ken when you have been seen smiling or chuckling away after a loss like a total ****wit, that's sharing the frustration of the supporters? He is such a pathetic individual that he can't even be arsed to face the supporters post game following a bad loss 11 days ago against Hawthorn!

Quit gaslighting the supporter base and just cut the bullshit. The fans are over you and short of winning a flag there is nothing you can possibly do to "turn it around" anymore.

You definitely were not and are not alone in your take from last week and tomorrow night

Don't be harsh on Kenny. I'm sure he does share our frustration it's just that when he checks his bank balance it helps to numb the pain.

10 years but it really is now been 3 cycles.

2013/14 Hope - 2015/16 Despair. 2017 Hope - 2018/19 Despair. 2020/21 Hope - 2022 Despair.

We, as a supporter base have been through the hope turning to despair cycle 3 times now.

Whilst you can argue 2017 was a very false dawn, we still finished 5th with still a small sense of anything can happen in Finals (yes deep down we knew, but there was still hope).

3 cysles of expectations/hopes/opportunites not being met. It is just completely untenable. It hasn't worked and it won't work. He just doesn't have it. He just needs to go. There is no point in keeping him there.

The three phases of Hinkley are:

2013-14: Not realising he's crap.
2015-16: Thinking he could be crap.
2017-22: Definitely knowing he's crap.
