As a permanent head coach yes. Not as a caretaker with no guarantee. You wouldn't take it anyway if you had a 3 year contract or something as an assistant.

There is a difference between a caretaker, and a head coach appointment. Caretaker suggests temporary filler.

I'd love to know how any of those football analysts would forcefully make an argument about a piece of data when none of them have any senior football experience and you have the coaches son on your shoulder. All 3 positions are completely redundant.

As Feel mentioned earlier, Ken is a sunk cost, he will still get paid his monthly wage if we sack him, it will only cost extra whatever higher duties will be for the caretaker coach. Assuming it wouldn’t be much more than a 2-300k annual increase.(could be wrong as no idea what assistants are on, but surely 1st year head coaches are 500k ish) and it is only for 6 months or so.

David Koch has not actually promised Tredders anything. He has suggested that if Tredrea wants seat on the Board he should get involved with the Club. Koch actually said,

'I said to Warren get back involved, come on our committees and learn about the club, You’ve been away for 10 years, get involved with the club.
Be on our footy committee, be on our board, financial and governance committee, our marketing committee like other players are.'

From that response we assume that all of the current Board, including the Chairman, were serving members of Club committees etc. and heavily involved with running the Club before being offered a seat on the Board. Hmmmm I doubt it.

These coaches are all on their final year of their contract, they are coaching for their careers. This is the absolute best they have to give.
