I'm getting a lot of stick about this on twitter from accounts with 3 followers that have a username of a first name followed by a bunch of numbers.

Also some well meaning happy clappers, and some for whom this breach of decorum is worse than any performance the club could serve up.

And (who appears to be the real) Mark Aiston.

Lots of excellent support though.

Aiston is a big hater of Port and a patronising soft****. Still sore about his Roosters.

Mark aiston is a garbage can. Might go get myself blocked and give him a few choice words.

Ultras in Italy definitely have their issues but they are awesome at staging a protest.

Would expect that given our circumstances you would see something on the lines of the whole Northern end completely empty at the start of the match, and then everyone barrel in for the 9th minute in recognition for Robbie, with rest of the match being constant chants flipping from protests for change to thanks and recognition for Robbie's efforts for the club.

I do not think a walk out or non attendance at a Showdown is such a great idea as it gifts the Crows a free kick and I would not give those bastards anything. I take the point that it is also disrespectful to Robbie Gray. SACK KEN & KOCH signs dispersed around the ground is the way to go but walk outs and non attendance should not be entertained. Of course the signs can be trotted out in 2023 as well.

I'm probably overthinking this but struggling to understand why the rest of the comp sees it fit that we have to keep Kenny.

Only logic I can accept is because we're not financially able to afford the payout and pay for a new coaching panel. Which if true puts our predicament purely at the feet of the board and president. 10 years at the helm and you can't afford to sack a coach who's only got one year left to run?

Would be interesting to see the breakdown of the clubs membership revenues since 2017 when the obvious call should have been to current day.

50,000 v 60,000 total member number isn't a decent comparison as it doesn't factor final dollar figure.

I'd be amazed if total dollars hasnt significantly been impacted by the boards steady as she goes approach. I suspect the value of membership, merch sales and game day takings would have all fallen despite inflation

But for Koch and Hinkley, Robbie Gray would more than likely be retiring as a premiership player, so one might argue that this protest is in part a tribute to Robbie!!!

Problem is the Koch's obsession with getting Hinckley's extensions done early. There was no need to extend his contract early last year, especially given how long he's been here. Had they just held back, we wouldn't be in this position because after the embarrassing prelim result we would have just told him to walk.

In 2018 we had 61k marginally more than now. But what this doesn't factor in is the shift from 12 game to 6 or 3 game memberships, which i understand theres been a fair amount of. Pre Covid years (17-19) we were down 8-10k on attendance. Hypothetically speaking, 10k people moving from 12 games western stadium memberships down to 3 game memberships would cost the club almost 3 millions in gross income.

So, are we doing this? Happy to join in or help organise something. I think the message should be "it's time for change". Rather than the more agro "sack hinkley" or "sack Koch".
No, we need to be brutal and very targeted.

We don’t want meaningless change or shuffling of assistants.

I am, and mine will say "Sack Hinkley" because I've already made the banner, but "It's time for change" as a softer appeal is also great!

It's important to have a lot of banners saying whatever the banner maker feels like. We'll get the message across as a collective.

Maybe some people will see my banner and think I'm a stupid ****wit, then see yours and think "it's not just the extremists, reasonable people think this too".

While I agree in general, more banners sprinkled with softer messages is better than less banners that all just say Sack Hinkley

Aiston’s post outdoing the happy clappers and trolls in the w***ers stakes is impressive

What are we gonna do when he does get sacked. It'll be like the war. We'll all just be like "well, what now?"
Koch, the board, Richardson, Davies, Jonas and Dixon will still be there.
