And it really is that simple. Hinkley's been in the chair more than a decade, he's already been given a great young list, and he burnt it. It would be utter insanity to just hand him the keys to the next crop of youngsters and allow him to do it again. Madness.

Making the call to drop the captain (Jonas) strikes me as a sign that Ken is definitely on the hot seat so to speak and I don't think he would have had the stones to do it if he had a comfortable new contact inked.

I think your club has or is doing the correct course of action, putting all contraxt talks on hold under late in the season.

Your club and Ken are getting the results (so far) so why not mess with a winning formula ?

The worst thing the PAFC could do right now is bow to media pressure and sign Ken up now ..

There will come a point (not yet for me but it's getting closer) when I'm going to accept how things are and regardless, support PAFC in the finals and just hope that they pull it off. Crows fan laughed at us ... They will belittle anything we do, and who the hell cares what those morons think!
Some Victorians laughed at us ... So? Most of them were actually jealous. Some then started negotiations with India, others with the US.

The only thing that really kiboshed us was Covid and some stupid politics from our government. Gaining MG as a sponsor, alone, was worth all the effort & cost ... Most of which was covered by Mr Gui
