Let’s say, hypothetically, we drop the next 3 games against Collingwood, Crows and Geelong, causing us to fall into a slump and either face an away qualifying final or even worse an elimination final if we keep on losing. In both scenarios we don’t even make a prelim.

Is it not then reasonable to assume that, given the 11 years of objective data, Koch will change the narrative and say no one expected us to qualify for finals this year and therefore Hinkley should be re-signed for overachieving?
