Hinkley took the blame for the losses in round 2 and round 3 so I assume he takes blame for the loss yesterday.

I posted something on those lines a little while ago, it's a long time to stay up with plenty of footy to go. Quite on the cards and the next 3 weeks will be telling, then finals, we all know how Hinkley teams go when in matters but Donuts doesn't rate finals.

I definitely feel like the club threw all of its eggs into the 13 in a row basket, and in doing so, has shown it's entire hand to the rest of the comp. Geelong and Melbourne still the teams to beat for mine.

but when you have a look at the crows thread you see post after post after post from crow supporters on how good he is going, how good he is as a coach and how he needs to get a new contract. It shows crow supporters love for Ken.

You even hear it from those in the media like Rowie, Cornsey etc, etc go on about how good he is.

and then you see post after posts of how bad Nicky is and how he needs to be replaced (the recent loss is a prime example)

seeing how the crows go after what we had (Nicksy, Burgess, Phil Walsh etc - and i can go on and on) it wouldn't surprise me if they will soon go after Ken.

I know cow supporters want us to get him because he hasn't won a premiership (and hasn't got past the prelim) etc etc etc

but would he be better for the crows instead of his apprentice - Nickys ?? ... he could do a Blighty (who was crap as coach at Geelong) and be the 2nd coming of the Messiah at the cows

Yep / he’d get them going for 10-12 weeks a year. They hype would be insurmountable and then they’d flop. It’d be so much fun to watch once you worked out the pattern and realised he could never actually succeed.


They glorious part is that they’d keep him for 10 + years too, so I’d get to watch them implode for 10 seasons and then suck it up and go again - because of ‘well at least we didn’t finish last and we can’t all be premiers’

As to who is responsible for last weeks inclusions to omit Hayes after an average but not terrible game last week to bring back an obviously still injured Lycett just smacks of Hinkley thinking that a half baked Lycett was going to school the kid De Konnig.
