What the hell is this crap.

No man should have to read stuff like this in the dead of night — serves me right for staying up to watch the Premier League while eating dry wholemeal saladas.

‘Culture’ was fine. Funding and staffing wasn’t.

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out, but Sydney are the one contender that Port tend to chalk up as their annual win against a contender, leading to Kane Cornes saying Port beat premiership contender Sydney, so where are the Hinkley haters now? Reality is if you take out Sydney, wins by Port against premiership contenders have been few and far between.

As a neutral, I still remember when Port came close to folding in 2011, and the people in charge at the club remember this too, hence why they constantly tell the fans to be grateful about where Port as a club are at today.

You guys should be spewing that club management didn't even ask the question to Ross Lyon last year. In my opinion this Port side with Ross as coach would be close to a lock for top 2, especially with 13 games at Adelaide Oval.

Port should also be the number one club in SA by now as they've gradually been closing the gap between themselves and the Crows over the last decade, yet it's Port's own ineptitude that's prevented them from going past the Crows and becoming the number one club in SA.

Do you guys think Tredrea should become involved with the club on a management level? Or do you think he'll be like Ricciuto at the Crows and Peter Bell at the Dockers, aka favourite sons who have become involved with their clubs on a management level only to have effectively turned the places into boys clubs?

Collingwood had become a boys club with Eddie and Buckley, and it's clear Koch and Ken are the Port equivalents of those two with a boys club culture being prevalent at Port. However, Eddie and Buckley eventually fell on their swords for the sake of their club, and I'm not sure Koch and Ken are the types to fall on their swords for the sake of their club. Change is needed ASAP though as Port are merely treading water while Koch and Ken remain in their positions.

Port came no closer to folding then literally any other (traditional) club that has experienced time near the bottom, as the cyclical nature of the league makes it.

Carlton. Melbourne. Richmond. Bulldogs. Brisbane. Hawthorn. St Kilda. Roos.

Form dries up, so does revenue for most clubs.

You are brainwashed by media in to believing that for Port, it was different. It was never different in reality.

Seriously this guy is going no where. He is acting like each win is for a new contract, putting on a show for the media world after the win, look at how the players love me and want me to stay. The fraud goes down and pretends to coach from the bench lol, the first time in 10 years.

Koch down in the rooms like we really played well, forgetting Sydney were 2 men down early and another half a meter on that kick and the result is reversed.

They are all in this together, Koch, Ken and the players, life must be good at Alberton. I can see another contract coming from Koch in August.

It takes there beloved coach to have a little heat for them to turn up and play, can't the media see through the BS, if the players turned up every week we wouldn't be talking about this now, we would of had a GF at least. Lazy, all of them, only perform when heat is applied, that includes the coach.

I am prepairing myself for life without Port if things go the way I think they will.

What's wrong with today's players, after the last 2 s*t shows you would think last night they would of just been happy to win by a bees d** but no they celebrate like it was a prelim cough cough and they got through to the GF.

What ever is going on down there they are as thick as thieves, the whole lot of them, they are all denial of their lack of achievements and it's going to take something really big to break their little cult apart.
Notice when any of them players, coaches, chairmen get any heat they close ranks like a political party.

Oh by the way has anyone heard from our toothless tiger CEO or is he being protected and hidden away by the clan.

We all knew there would be ups and downs this year. Roller coaster year coming up but i still Ken will go.

Was Josh coaching from the box last night and why was Ken on the bench.

They can thank Warren for the changes as I’m sure if he didn’t speak out last week these changes wouldn’t of happened.

Had trouble enjoying the win, what a time to be alive.

Some games where our coach didn’t deem it important or desperate enough to coach on the sidelines:
  • 2017 elimination final
  • 2020 prelim
  • 2021 prelim
  • Russell Ebert tribute match
All games where our coach did:
  • Round 4 against Sydney when there’s pressure on his own job

I think Powerbaz might be on the money.

Carr doing the tactical game day moves, Ken on the bench giving the rev ups and as it appeared last night, individual coaching.

Absolutely. Looks like such a goose when he prances and gesticulates too.

Someone should make a montage of all of Ken's over the top celebrations and all the finishing positions that year.

I wouldn’t mind the excitement so much if it wasn’t drenched in this false sense of vindication.

We were comprehensively outplayed for the majority of the game despite the Swans being a man down for most of it. We were extremely lucky to win.

So enjoy it for what it is i.e. perseverance with a thick glazing of good fortune. But nuffs like the Cornes clan and their disciples can in no way consider it as validation of the path that we’re on.

People are acting like losing last night would've actually made any difference to his situation whatsoever. Penis head Kochie already said he's too chicken to make a call on Ken's career until August and we will likely be out of finals contention by then so nothing has changed.

Quit your bellyaching. The campaigner's time is coming.

After 10 years to pretend to be coaching from the bench is such a cheesy look. Last night they were hoping for the result to swing in our favour so then they could put on the worlds greatest media show, like look how conected we are the players love Ken and he loves them, then there is Koch lol.
